Amis Pour Toujours. That's what we called ourselves. In English, it means "Friends Forever." We came up with it in 5th grade. It was the grade where I finally met my family. We were already friends, but I saw Carathea sitting all alone on the swings, and I couldn't resist but to invite her to sit with us. Ever since then... Ever... Ev- Sorry. Allow me to restart. Ever since then, she has been an "Amis Pour Toujours."
I think we all came up with it together. But it's so simple because we were all so tired that day and we just went with it. Then it slowly started to get quoted every week... then every day... and now, that's us. Being "Amis Pour Toujours" isn't just a name. There are rules. Codes of conduct may one say. Carathea decided on them, but really, we all pitched in together. (1) No keeping anything from another. Including the most top secret confidential matters. (2) Ditch the judgement and always listen. No matter what someone has to say, no matter how harmful it is that "said" person did, we must always listen to them. There are not many, (there's only 2), but they're very important. There was never a disagreement over it, and we all agreed to follow them.
