I think this will be the last chapter I'll be posting in 2024, I plan to finish this book in late January to early February, like I said in the other chapters it just depends on how fast I can write the chapters!

Also, this chapter is short and basically, filler because I didn't want to do back-to-back flashbacks, I thought it would be too much but nevertheless I hope you enjoy this Changbin chapter.

Even though Minho asked me to talk to Chan I still kinda ignored him for a couple of days but not on purpose, he had been stuck in his office yesterday when I came over to the Wolf Den to paint but I weirdly felt like he didn't want to talk to me after he found out my parents are dead.

Is that weird to think or am I overthinking it?

Hazel waddled over to me from her work corner, she currently working on a landscape painting for a rich guy who wouldn't stop changing his mind on the details. I've been trying to cheer her up but it's not working.

She stops behind me and wraps her arms around my neck, I can feel her smell my hair that I just washed this morning and I start to laugh but stop when she groans.

" I hate my life" she whines and nuzzles her nose on my neck.

" I'm sorry baby" I whisper and kiss her head as I am typing on my computer.

" what are you working on?" She asks curiously, her words make my fingers stop what they're doing and tense up.

I can either tell her the truth and see the pity in her eyes or I lie and remind myself to tell her someday.

" just something annoying with my parents," I say trying to fake a smile at her.

It's a vague enough answer so she won't ask more questions.

" oh, everything okay?" She asks

Fuck!

" uhh yeah.... anyways are you taking your lunch?" I asked trying to switch the subject but she looked at me in a way I can't describe, it was a small glare and then she widened her eyes as she sighed.

" yeah, I was also wondering if you would come to the Wolf Den with me this weekend?" She says kissing my cheek and letting my neck go.

" uh sure," I say closing my laptop, I wasn't planning on going but I'm just happy we are talking about something else.

" well since you said yes to that I was wondering something else," she says happily, I nod and she sits on my lap.

" I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me... it might be a while because I have to finish this painting but... I really want to go on a date with you" Her words came out fast and bunch up together as if she was nervous to ask me.

It was cute

" of course" I whisper in her ear and hug her tightly, I could see a big grin on her face as she hugged me back.

" so lunch?" She asked, I nodded happy that I could make her day better, I honestly wanted to go on a date with her.

I want to be her girlfriend.

Oh god, how would the guys take that?

How would Han act, they are together, right?

I don't know I'll figure it out later.

I let Hazel drag me to the Wolf Den on Saturday... literally, she took my wrist that had my new Wolf Den bracelet on and pulled me into the club excitedly.
