"You are a terrible driver!" I yelled at Zach. He's already almost run into a tree twice, and swerved off the road several times. I was gripping on to what I could for dear life. The pale of my knuckles could rival the Indominus.

"I tried to warn you." Gray said giving me an I told you so look. I'm listening to him now.

"Come on, I'm not that bad." Zach argued.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "You sure about that?"

"Yes," he paused, "Okay, no, but I can improve. And what better time than now?" I threw my hands in frustration.

"Oh I don't know, maybe after we get off this island?! I don't know what's going to kill me first, the hybrid or your terrible driving." Gray busted out laughing while I smirked.

"Dude, you so got owned!" Grey said to Zach between laughs.

"Why don't you just shut up?"

"Why don't you keep your eyes on the road?"

"If you don't cut it out, I will stop the car."

I looked at Zach incredulously. "Zach I swear to god, don't you f*cking dare!"

"Uh guys, look." Grey said pointing up. A bunch of pterodactyls were emerging from the forest, flying high in the sky in the direction of the park.

"DRIVE!" I yelled to Zach.

"Oh, now you want me to drive!" He yelled.

"This is really not the time for this!" I yelled back. He cursed under his breath as he pressed down on the gas and drove as fast as possible to the park. I clung onto anything I could and held on for dear life.

As we drove on, the thick forest opened up and the path lead to one of the park gates. Gate 5 to be exact. Two men were standing guard at the gate, armed and loaded.

"OPEN THE GATE! LET US IN!" We kept screaming and repeating. The guards didn't budge. Just then, all of the pteranodon hybrids emerged from the forest and the guards quickly opened the gate to let us in. Zach drove though and parked the car, all of us scrambling out as fast as we could.

Once we got to Main Street, all hell broke loose. There were thousands of people running around like lunatics, trying to avoid getting snatched up by the flying hybrids. The pain in my wound felt like wildfire, but the adrenaline began to overpower it.

Somehow through the chaos, Zach managed to find my hand and held it tightly in his own, as if both of our lives depended on it, which they probably did. I held on to Gray for dear life. We were not going to lose anyone, and we certainly are not going to chance it.

I spoke too soon.

Just as I looked up, I could see a pterodactyl making its decent towards Gray. Thinking quickly, I let go of Zach's hand and pushed Gray to him, taking his place instead. The pterodactyl didn't hesitate as a result of the switch. It dove down at record speed, snatching me up into the air by my shoulders with its large, razor-sharp talons, and taking off again.

This was a whole new level of pain. There were, no doubt, tears in my shirt because of it. I screamed at the top of my lungs out of pain and fear.

"Sky! Skylar!" Zach and Grey shouted. They ran off after me, and Zach did the unthinkable. He ran as fast as he could up onto a table, and leaped up, grabbing the hybrid on the wing, and then dropping down again. Soon after, the pterodactyl dropped me on the ground as well, and all the wind was knocked out of me. Not to mention, if my wound wasn't open before, it must be now.
