Rays of sunlight poured through the curtains and spilt onto the floor, having to squint my eyes as it partially blinded me. Not that I really wanted to look at the bloodbath in front of me anyway, the floor glistening a crimson red as the thick liquid slowly trickled.

It wasn't meant to happen like this.

I didn't want to cause any more upset.

Anymore trouble.

Anymore. . anything.

It was almost as if i was watching myself from 3rd person, chains locking me to the ground as i slit their head off clean.

Everything was still. I couldn't even hear my own breathing as i watched his eyes slowly roll to the back of his head.

The metallic stench of blood blocked my airways, my chest starting to convulse and struggle for air as the weight of my actions hit me like a truck to my head.

Grace wouldn't be happy with me.

Cirlce wouldn't be happy with me.

And most importantly, if she was still here, Claire wouldn’t be happy with me.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life. Something about that doesnt feel right. Something about that isnt right.

Yes, we all have thoughts and feelings and opinions, but that didn't mean we should make choices for the dead.

It'd only be moral to just leave it be.

The Bible says we shall not kill, and we shall not steal, yet here lies two lifeless bodies still in my office- with all their stolen relationships and bonds for her own greedy satisfaction.

In the end, it doesn't even feel good. .
