The first time I saw him, I didn't know he would change everything.
I had no idea how much my life would change the moment I walked into the office. I was just another rookie officer, fresh out of training, trying to make a difference. The job was tough, but it was mine, and I was ready. I mean I thought it was ready for it.
I didn't know that the hardest thing wouldn't be the criminals or my late night shifts but it would be the man who handed me my badge.
Travis Kelce wasn't like the other officers. He was calm in a way that made me question everything I thought I understood. Over time, it was impossible to ignore how much I wanted to be close to him. And the way how easily my heart quickened every time he spoke to me, how his presence became something I started to crave. I told myself it was just respect for my boss but the truth was somehow I had started falling for him. What I didn't know was that beneath his uniform, there was a side to him no one saw. The more I uncovered, the less I understood. And the deeper I got the more I realize that some truths are better left hidden.
