Aurélia's eyes gleamed with an otherworldly intensity. "I've been waiting. The threads of fate are mine to weave."
Sophia's instincts prickled. "What do you want, Aurélia?"
Aurélia's fingers danced, manipulating shadows. "Your destiny, Sophia, is intertwined with mine."
Bastien's loup-garou form growled. "We won't let you harm her."
Aurélia's smile hinted at secrets. "Harm? No, I'll guide her to her true purpose."
Adèle's vampire senses heightened. "What purpose?"
Aurélia's gaze swept the guardians. "The balance of light and darkness must be maintained."
Julian and Luca exchanged nods. "We'll protect Sophia."
Aurélia's laughter echoed. "You'll soon understand. The threads of fate are complex."
Shadows deepened, as if responding to Aurélia's words.
Sophia's determination hardened. "I won't be manipulated."
Aurélia's eyes sparkled. "We'll see."
