The cell was dark and cold, small beams of light lighting up the area. The once proud king was now reduced to noting but a pitiful prisoner. His loyal servant betraying him and locking him up while they fight the big fight with his staff. His staff. His power. He earned that power, not them! He worked his ass off to get it and then they come along and take it for themselves.

He scoffs, looking down to the shackles around his wrists, the metal binding digging into his skin making it itch and hurt all at once. It was pathetic how easily he managed to get overthrown. He should've been more prepared, he should've been easily able to stop them. How long has it been here? Hours? Days? He glances to the bars, seeing a single figure standing just outside his containment, just out of sight yet they were there.

He glares, gripping his shirt in one hand. "I told you to not come here again," he snapped, his voice hoarse from misuse.

The stick figure stepped into view, chuckling to itself as it approached him, making him stiffen. He was restrained and in a cell. No power, or weapon. He has no way to defend himself if things end in a fight.

"Awh, did the little orange stick finish playing dress up?" He teased, tapping on the bars of King's cell. "Honestly the fight was quite entertaining, your little friend certainly knew your weaknesses."

"Shut it!" He yelled, forcing himself off the ground. "You will not say a single thing abou-!"

"About what?" the other interrupted. "That you were easily defeated? That I'm the more superior one? C'mon big K, what is it I'm not allowed to talk about?"

If he had teeth he'd be gritting them so hard they'd crack. "Oh har-har Dark, you think you're sooo funny!"

He threw his arms out to the side, showing off the chains that had been placed on his body. Two on his wrists, one on his neck and one around his waist. The metal glistened in the light of the outside, being glaringly obvious they were on him. "You think I haven't been humiliated enough huh?!"

The dark one only seemed to chuckle at this, putting a hand to a non-existent mouth. "Oh my King, you really are just such a pathetic thing to laugh at. You know, if you were to have accepted my offer you wou-"

"BULLSHIT!" He snapped, attempting to get as close to the bars as his restraints would let him. "You only wanted to use me! You only wanted to see me succeed so you could take all the glory! I know what you want and you're not getting it!"

Silence followed, King's breath audible from his outburst. It took a few seconds before he took notice of something. A small red spider, about the side of a medium sized dog was sitting obediently behind Dark's legs, staring at him with eyes that didn't exist.

"You know," Dark started, voice calm as if King hadn't just lashed out at him, reaching out and grabbing one of the bars in a hand. "There's a reason they call me 'The Dark Lord'."

Suddenly the spider lunged, biting down on one of the bars. At first, nothing happened... but then. The bars began to disintegrate, turning into red lines of ones and zeroes until the metallic pole was nothing, not a single trace of it once being there. King was silenced by this, backing up as Dark easily walked in, the spider quickly following.

"Stay back!" He commanded, his voice ever so slightly wavering.

Dark didn't listen, backing him up against the wall. "You see, I only needed the block, that's all I asked for," he stated, talking like this was a normal conversation and he wasn't forcing King to fear him in order for him to listen.

"Now I require something else." King felt a tug on the shackle around his neck, forcing him to look Dark in the 'eyes'.

"You're going to help me," He wasn't stating this, he was commanding it, telling him he has to help or he'd face whatever Dark decided to put him through. "Here's the deal. I need to get to the end biome, and you're going to bring me there."

"I-" He felt another tug, telling him to be silent. He reluctantly obeyed.

"Then," he continued, "you're going to bring that silly little gang you've been hunting, to me. In the end biome."

He felt the spider circling around his legs, making him stiffen and unwanting in moving his legs. He was forced to sit there, listening to Dark explain his plan to him.

"Next, you will get me the block I required from you in the first place. You will bring it to the throne room and you will wait there for me." King grunted as he slammed him into the wall behind him. He felt blood trickling down his back yet he didn't dare move.

"And finally," he added. "You will give me the block upon me asking for it. Failure to do so will result in you getting to feel the pain of losing your precious child over and over again. Is that clear?"

He didn't respond, the mix of pain and surprise forcing him to remain quiet. But not for long. He felt Dark throw him to the ground, yelling out in pain as his head bounced against the stone floor.

"I will repeat myself once. you will do as I say or face what I decide. Is that understood?" Dark repeated, his voice lowering to a more aggressive tone.

He grunted, looking up to see the Dark one glaring down at him. "Fine," he reluctantly spat, pushing his body off the ground, wobbling slightly as he balanced himself. "But know that I won't be fucking happy while doing so."

Dark seemed to smirk, patting him on the head as he walked over to the wall that held his chains. "Wonderful!" He exclaimed, motioning his spider to his chains. "Let's get started then."
