Third person's POV

It was the same day as ever for the police chief of Forks. Another hunter went off their hiking track, an animal attack or just the usual rowdy teenagers on the road. Either way, the day is just the same as always. Untuk now......

Charlie was in his office, organizing a few missing person's files. The missing persons are usually those who went hiking and got lost or they hiked too deep and lost their trail. The police can usually track them down well enough. Mind you, the people who hiked around the town are usually experts or locals.

Suddenly, he hears a knock on the door. Charlie pits away the remaining files and opens the door. "Gellert...." "Hello Charlie. Mind if I come in?" Gellert politely asked. Charlie moves aside to let him in. He closes the door and looks up and down at his sudden guest. Gellert is nicely dressed, shaved  with a hint of cologne on him. He's  carrying box of cookies in his hand.

"I was hoping to ask you something?" Gellert starts off strong.

"Oh, ok." Charlie walks back to his table. "What do you wanna ask?"

"Well....." Gellert face turns red. This is seriously the first time he has ever asked someone out. Like he mentioned before, usually he's the one getting asked out. Not the other way around. I swear to Lady Magic, if this fails, I'm going to strangle the 2 mutts!

"It's ok. Just tell me......" Charlie comes around his desk and gives him an encouraging pat on his shoulder. Gellert, taking advantage of Charlie being close to him, pulls his hands and pulls him closer. "Charlie, will you go out with me tonight?" Gellert was almost pleasing for Charlie to say yes.

He handed the box of cookies to the chief as a 'bribe'. "You..... want to go....on a.... date with me?" Charlie stuters as he asked the man again. "Yes, I want to go on a date with you. Tonight, at La Bella, Seattle. Will you join me?" Gellert softly kissed the hand that he was still holding onto.

Charlie's face went red and he quickly looked away. It was short lived, however. Gellert gently grasped his chin and turned his head back to meet his eyes, "Don't you ever turn your face away from me. I can't bear to not be able to see your eyes again."

"We just met," Charlie mutters. "How can you be so sure? I'm not something to be played with. I have my own dignity, you know."

"I know. That's why I'm asking you like this. This is the first time I'm seriously courting someone." Gellert is a very egotistic and possessive man. He wants someone who would treat him well and know that they wouldn't be hurt if he ever snaps. He wants them exclusively, no questions asked.

Charlie is what he wants and he will have him as his wife. "You know that I've been divorced, right?" Charlie mumbled, looking down at his shoe.  He couldn't stand the look of pity and discomfort. He tried going on blind dates but whenever the topic of marriage was brought up, he tells the truth about his status and it usually gets too awkward and he would never make it to the second one.

"I know, darling." Gellert puts down his box and pulls the both of them to the couch. He places Charlie onto his lap, the chief's face going red as cherries. "I'm going to be honest with you, my last relationship ended with my partner Albus, betraying me and putting me into jail. I was freed by Harry and his family after he died."

The point is, I don't care that you've been married before. I heard about it from the townspeople and they really care about you. Your marriage and divorce is your past, this is the future and I want to be that future. The first time I met you, I fell in love. I gained back the feeling that I might have a chance at love again.

I want to date you with the intention of marriage at the end. If you wish to say no, I understand but I'm not getting that yes or no yet. So, I am asking again. Charlie Swan, will you go out with me with the intention of marriage at the end?"

Charlie is now speechless. He didn't know what to say but he knows what he wants. Charlie looks down and softly nodded, giving the wizard the green flag of yes. Gellert instantly lift him into a princess carry and twirled them around in excitement.

"Woah, put me down!"

"Sorry, sorry." Gellert carefully lowered him down. He pulls the police chief into his embrace, whispering softly "thank you" and "you won't regret it" into his ear. Charlie moans and pushes him away for some air.

"I'm only giving you one chance. You fail, you're out."

"I understand. I'll meet you at your house at 7 tonight. Dress casually." Gellert soon left the precinct, leaving a kiss on the cheek for Charlie.
