Kamen Rider Avian: Season 2, Episode 1 – "The First Flight"
Opening Scene:
(The episode opens on a stormy night at Top Wing Island, but it looks different—older, untouched by modern development. The island is covered in thick forest, with towering trees and ancient stone structures partially hidden by vines and moss. Thunder crashes, and the scene shifts to a hidden cave deep in the forest. Narrator (voice-over):
“One hundred years ago, before the Top Wing Academy, before heroes like Swift, there was a time of darkness… and a hero who rose to meet it.”
Cut to: The figure is a blue jay named Alaric, whose intense blue feathers catch the glint of nearby candlelight. He’s carefully placing the final components on what we recognize as an ancient version of the Avian Driver.
Scene 1: The Origin of Darkness
(Alaric lives in a time of turmoil. A dark force has arisen on Top Wing Island, led by a fearsome villain known as The Black Talon—a hawk with immense power, bent on controlling the entire island. He leads an army of shadowy bird warriors, wreaking havoc on the island’s communities and spreading fear wherever they go.)
Black Talon (commanding his forces):
“Bring this island under my wing! No one shall stand against the might of the Talons.”
(The villagers, mostly smaller birds, are helpless against the powerful forces of the Black Talon. They are desperately in need of a savior.)
Scene 2: The Mysterious Stranger
(As the villagers gather in fear, an elder blue jay named Sera speaks to Alaric in private. She’s wise, knowing much about the ancient ways and long-lost powers.)
Sera:
“Alaric, you have the heart of a warrior and the spirit of a protector. I have something to show you… a weapon that was meant to be wielded only by the purest of heart.”
(She leads him deep into the forest to a hidden shrine where ancient carvings line the walls. She reveals a prophecy etched in stone: a tale of a warrior who would use the power of the skies to bring peace to the land. This warrior would be chosen by the Avian Driver.)
Sera (pointing to the prophecy):
“This device, the Avian Driver, was crafted by our ancestors, but only the chosen one can unlock its full potential. It’s yours, Alaric, if you choose to accept the burden.”
Alaric (hesitating):
“But… why me? I’m just a simple protector of my village. I’ve never faced anything like the Talons.”
Sera (smiling gently):
“Greatness lies not in strength alone, but in a spirit that never gives up. The Avian Driver chose you, Alaric.”
Scene 3: The First Transformation
(Reluctantly, Alaric agrees to take on this responsibility. With Sera’s guidance, he fastens the Avian Driver around his waist. Sera hands him a small device, resembling a miniature feathered token, which fits into the Avian Driver. When he inserts it, the Driver glows with energy, and Alaric undergoes the first transformation, becoming the very first Kamen Rider Avian.)
Alaric (astonished, looking at his transformed self):
“This power… it feels like the spirit of the skies!”
Sera:
“Remember, Alaric, this power is not just for fighting. It’s to protect. Always let your heart guide you.”
Scene 4: The Battle Begins
(Alaric’s newfound abilities are put to the test when the Black Talon’s forces attack his village. Alaric, now Kamen Rider Avian, steps forward to confront them, a blue blur in the stormy night.)
Shadow Warrior (laughing):
“Who is this little bird who dares challenge us?”
Alaric (determined):
“I am Kamen Rider Avian! And I will fight for those who cannot fight for themselves!”
(Alaric battles fiercely, using swift moves and his agility to overcome the warriors. His armor enhances his speed and strength, and he fights with the spirit and valor of a true hero. For the first time, the villagers see hope as Alaric takes down the Talon’s forces.)
Scene 5: Confrontation with the Black Talon
(Word of Kamen Rider Avian’s victories reaches the Black Talon, who is furious. He decides to confront Alaric himself, viewing him as the only true threat to his plans.)
Black Talon (glaring at Alaric):
“So, you’re the so-called hero standing in my way. You think you can defeat me?”
Alaric (resolute):
“Power alone doesn’t make a true leader. You only inspire fear, but I fight for hope.”
(The two clash in an intense, high-stakes battle. Alaric is pushed to his limits as he matches the Black Talon’s raw power with his skill and quick thinking. After a fierce battle, Alaric manages to defeat the Black Talon, driving him into retreat. The villagers cheer, grateful for the peace Kamen Rider Avian has brought.)
Scene 6: A Hero’s Legacy
(After the battle, Alaric stands with Sera, watching the sunrise. Though the Black Talon has been defeated, Alaric understands the burden of his role: the Avian Driver was meant to be a symbol of hope, and he must now protect it and the people it serves.)
Sera:
“This Driver is a great responsibility, Alaric. In time, others may need to take up this mantle. Keep it safe, so that when the world needs a protector, it will answer.”
Alaric (nodding):
“I will guard it, and one day, when the time comes, another will rise to continue the fight.”
Scene 7: Passing the Driver
(In a final, touching moment, we see Alaric placing the Avian Driver in a hidden alcove, surrounding it with protective charms and inscriptions that only those worthy may unlock its power. As he steps back, he whispers a promise to future generations.)
Alaric:
“To those who come after me… let this power guide you. Protect those who cannot protect themselves, and remember, the spirit of the skies is with you.”
(The scene fades as Alaric walks away, his figure silhouetted by the dawn light.)
