Everyone had just decided to go their own ways and just get things done, which I agreed on. Though it was really hard to even think about work knowing someone had passed away and out of all people, Blue. We barely knew her. She never really spoke but when she did she at least tried to stick up for herself but at the same time she wasn't the sweetest person alive. How can you blame her? With the people who also boarded this ship, I guess you have to act a bit tough just to go on with your life. In her case though, it got her killed.

I had figured I'd follow Cyan this time around. Last time she ran off and if something would happen to her, I'd feel responsible as I kinda have grown attached to her a bit. We went to what looked like a platform room with a single chair in the middle, aiming at a giant glass window. I sat down in it pulling up a green hologram like a video game.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" There were two levers with buttons directly in front of me. I decided to press one, but jumped at the sound of a shot.

"Woah! What the heck was that? Does this ship have a giant gun attached to it?" I looked to Cyan who was in the corner doing her own task minding her business.

"This is seriously a lot more dangerous than it looks. First glance it's like a VR game but without the headset. Who would have thought it was an actual weapon?'' I said stunned, but Cyan completely ignored me. I hoped to get a word out of her to try and break the silence. I looked away and went back to the controls. I rolled up my suit's sleeves a bit and tried to move the levers a bit but they barely budged, tough and stiff.

"Man, this isn't easy. The handles are really in place. It's as if they haven't been used in months." My eyes peeks back over to her for a response, still nothing. My mood went from light to low-spirited.

"You do know you can talk to me, right? I'm all ears." I slightly smirked her way, but she kept her nose in the corner as if I wasn't even there. She continued to finish her task with one of the little monitors that was on the wall.

"I understand why you keep to yourself." I turned back to the work that needed to be done on my end,

"But it's not good for you. Talk to people, be open. We are here for you, we're a team. Well, a crew; but that doesn't make us any less than a family in the making." My goal was to break any barrier that I could. I couldn't stand the thought of whatever she was going through. What had happened was bad enough as it was but who knows what all could be going through her mind. For all I know, this incident could have brought back bad memories for her. She had finally moved. Cyan looked down to her feet, I quickly looked away just to make it not awkward if she were to turn around to me staring at her.

"It's not as easy as it looks." She said, taking a deep breath of courage to speak. Her words started to speed up,

"You're so friendly and seem like an open book. From what it looks like to be, you basically let anyone in without a second thought-' She stopped as her words tumbled over themselves,

'I wish I could be that way...But it's hard..." I didn't know what to say. It broke my heart to hear anyone feel that way, but to think of me as someone so open like that? That's not me at all, not even close. Though not everyone sees the same thing. Everyone is different in other people's perspective. She turned around slightly enough to look over her shoulder to me,

"N...never mind, what's the point?" She said under her breath. I quickly stopped and dropped the levers looking into her direction.

"No! No! I got caught up on my task, I swear I wasn't ignoring you. To be honest, I didn't know how to respond."

Shy fully turned back around towards me and held her arms together.

"Y..yeah. Sorry, I guess I over thought. That was stupid of me."
