Chapter 9 Sabotage

After the loud thud Orange and Mini Purple took off. They ran through the halls that led them back to the storage room. Best to search in the middle and start from there.

"Red? Where are you?" Orange called out, hoping he was alright. He looked around the big crates that took up most of the room, no sight.

"Mini Red?" Mini Purple yelled. Orange sat Mini Purple down,

"Here Mini, it will be easier but stay close. Hold on tight! Please don't get hurt! Hopefully White can calm the ship down." Mini Purple understood what to do as she held on to whatever she could. Which wasn't the best idea as her strength wasn't great, but Orange had to search. Mini went one way searching the lower places as Orange the higher.

"Red, are you in here?" Orange hollered for his attention, but no reply. The Storage room wasn't huge but there were many places where you could get trapped. Orange went back to where he left Mini Purple to see if she found anything.

"Do you see anything Mini?" He asked, but she wasn't there. He started to panic and looked around furiously knowing he screwed up. He had two jobs, keep an eye on Mini Purple and look for their co-worker. He turned the corner where they ejected Pink to find Mini Purple standing in the middle of the room. Her legs were weak at the sight she was given.

"Mini, is everything okay-" Orange looked up to see what she was staring at.

"U-uncle Orange..." She cried out. It was Red. The slam and holler we heard earlier was him flying across the room and into the trash shutter. His body was sliced in half. Only leaving half his torso and his legs behind. The blood dripped onto the ground that was slowly pouring its way to Mini's feet.

Orange ran over in front of Mini, so she didn't have to bear what she just saw. Her sobs poured out as she had seen too many bodies at once in one day. No child should have to witness what she has, no one should. Death isn't an easy thing for anyone.

"Red!? No, no, no! Mini Don't look!" he said, holding her close. She was terrified, just as much as Orange.

"Big Red! W-what happened to him?" She said, trying to peek at his body. Orange pushed her way,

"I said not to look!" He yelled at her. A little harsher than he should have.

She was fragile at the moment, her tears started to leak through her suit and helmet from how much she had cried. She was scared, everyone was leaving, people were becoming angry and mean, and she feels part of it was her fault. She couldn't hold back anymore and ran away leaving Orange standing there helplessly reaching out for her.

"Mini Purple! Wait, please come back! Oh bubbles... I'm in so much trouble..." He said under his breath knowing things weren't going to end well.

Cyan had been left alone too after her and Red's chat. She had headed to the complete other side of the Skeld. Away from everyone. Running through the dark she managed to find the one useful room in this situation.

"Electrical, maybe I can get the power back on!" She said with hope and excitement. This was another chance of redemption for her. She could show the others that she was capable of something, anything. She ran over but was flung into some cables that were connected to a giant generator.

"Gah! Okay... Okay... Something here has to be the source," she said, searching through everything she could possibly find. She tried unplugging and re-plugging cords back into place. Flipping switches and looking at every box she could find.

"Crap! I think I'm only making this worse."

About to give up she kicks the box of cords out of the way, as it skids across the floor and over a breaker. A light bulb went off inside her head,
