After everything everyone went through, the fights, the arguments, death. It was all back to normal. Well, almost everything. We were down to five people. How could one person kill so many in only a couple of hours, with what felt like an eternity. All the emotions running through the place had settled except for one, Mini Purple.

Who could blame her. Purple was the first person she had met. The person she looked up to and felt the safest with. If he couldn't save her, then who could? She had no one else to go to.

Black on the other hand did not like that idea. He was determined to get her to trust him. After he reached for her, he was heartbroken to see her that way. She was a happy, curious mini. Just like Mini Red. It's probably why he enjoys his company too. He has a special place for children in his heart.

Black had convinced Mini Red to help him with Mini Purple. He thought that if he couldn't get to her, maybe someone who understands her mindset better could. They were able to get her out from under the table. Her eyes are not leaving her Protector's lifeless body. Nobody could see through the helmet she was given when scanned onto the ship, but you could hear the sniffling and small weeps she let out. Black covered her eyes and took her out into the hall, just to get her out of that room.

"You see what I mean little man?" Black gestured. How could a child come back from this? She's been scarred for life. Who would she go to after the mission was done? Where would she go? Would she just be sent to an orphanage?

"She's such a little grape. Can't even take a little bit of a scare." Mini Red scoffed. Black's frustration snapped,

"Hey now, what if it was Red? I have seen how close he has gotten to you. You kinda rubbed off on him." Mini Red looked up at him, you could tell he was confused. All these new words, he had no idea how to respond to anything.

"Rubbed off? What does that mean?"

"So, you can tell Red doesn't take kindly to the others, right?" Black tried to explain in a way he could understand. "Yes?"

"Well, you are annoying. Yet, he accepted you really quickly as if you were his own." Mini Red looked back down to Mini Purple. Contemplating the words going through his head.

"Oh! I see what you are trying to say!" He jumped. "Good."

"Big Red is a Sweet Pepper!" Blacks frustration grew more. There was no way of getting him to understand anything without lessons. He was just happy he kind of got the point.

"Fine, however you want to describe it" He facepalmed in disappointment.

"So, what do you need me for then?" Mini Red asked.

"Well, since you both just popped up on the ship today, I thought you would understand her thought process. She just witnessed something and isn't talking to me or anyone. Maybe she will talk to you?" Black tried convincing. Mini Red crossed his arms,

"What if I do not want to talk to her?"

His stubborn words angered Black the smallest bit as he leaned into Mini Red. Bending down to his level,

"Don't test me kid".

"Gottcha" He choked.

"So... Uh... Hi little-I mean, Mini Purple." He coughed and wincing out her name,

"I'm Mini Red." He tried his best, but she would not budge. She sat still, holding herself up against the wall. Her stare only went straight.

"This is hopeless," Mini Red said looking back up to Black.

"You can do it, just keep trying." Black's confidence sunk in as Mini Red took a small breath,

"Okay..." He turns back and sits right next to her. Leaning his head against the wall, he slowly looks over trying to figure out what to say.
