Nervous, Maanvi and Amara arrived at Shaurya’s house. Maanvi’s heart raced with every step. She felt a flutter of butterflies in her stomach as they walked toward the door, the decorations twinkling in the evening light.

Veer was waiting outside, dressed in a classic suit with his usual easy smile. “There you two are! I thought I’d have to come drag you in,” he teased, his eyes twinkling as he reached out to take Amara’s hand.

“Hey, we’re here, aren’t we?” Amara shot back playfully, squeezing his hand. “Besides, someone had to make sure Maanvi was ready.”

Veer glanced over at Maanvi and gave her a reassuring nod. “You look great, Maanvi. Don’t worry, just be yourself.”

Maanvi managed a small smile, but her heart was pounding. Shaurya's home looked stunning, with soft lights, delicate floral arrangements, and intricate decorations lining the entryway. It felt like walking into a dream.

As they stepped inside, the soft hum of laughter and music filled the air. Maanvi looked around, trying to keep calm, but her eyes darted toward the crowd, searching for Shaurya. Amara seemed to notice and whispered, “Remember, just breathe. You’re here to enjoy yourself.”

With Veer and Amara by her side, Maanvi felt a wave of courage settle over her. Just being with friends made her feel braver, and for a moment, she allowed herself to hope that this night might just turn out to be as magical as it seemed.

As Maanvi, Amara, and Veer entered the beautifully decorated hall, Jia, Shaurya’s cousin, caught sight of them. She lit up with excitement and couldn’t help herself, calling out, “Maanvi! You’re here!”

Her voice rang out across the room, drawing everyone's attention to the entrance where Maanvi, Amara, and Veer stood. Maanvi froze for a split second, feeling all eyes on them, and her cheeks flushed in surprise and nervousness.

Amara, noticing Maanvi’s wide-eyed look, leaned in and whispered with a grin, “Seems like you made quite the entrance.”

Veer chuckled and gave Maanvi a playful nudge. “See? Already stealing the show.”

Jia rushed over to greet them, barely containing her excitement. “You look gorgeous, Maanvi! I’m so glad you came!”she said, giving her a quick hug before pulling Amara and Veer in for warm greetings as well.

“Everyone’s inside,” Jia said, guiding them further into the room. “And I think Shaurya was just asking about you, Maanvi,”she added with a wink.

Maanvi’s heart skipped a beat, and she shot a nervous glance at Amara, who gave her an encouraging nod. Taking a deep breath, Maanvi let herself relax, reminding herself of Amara’s words. It was her night to enjoy herself.

The butterflies were still there, but with her friends by her side, she felt ready for whatever this evening might bring.
