“What do I wear, Amara!” Maanvi cried.

Amara looked up from her phone with a calm smile. “What are you worried about, Maanvi? You always look beautiful in everything you wear.”

Maanvi gave a dramatic sigh, waving her arms as she stood in the middle of her bedroom, clothes tossed everywhere. “That is not the point. This is a big deal! I want everything to be perfect.”

Amara chuckled. She gently pushed some of the clothes aside and asked Maanvi to sit on the bed. “What exactly are you worried about? You look stunning in everything you wear,” she exclaimed, but Maanvi stayed quiet.

Amara broke the silence and asked softly, “Do you like him?”

Maanvi looked up, startled, her cheeks flushing as her gaze met Amara's. She didn’t need to say a word; the answer was written clearly in her eyes. A mix of excitement, hesitation, and a shy smile played across her face.

Amara chuckled, nudging Maanvi gently. “I knew it. So, are you going to tell him?”

Maanvi looked away, fidgeting with the edge of her scarf. “I don't know. I mean... what if he doesn’t feel the same? Or worse, what if I just make a fool of myself?”

Amara put a comforting hand on her shoulder. “Maanvi, he’s a good guy. And if he’s as kind as he seems, he’ll be flattered, no matter what. But you’ll never know unless you take a chance.”

Maanvi sighed, half-smiling. “You make it sound so easy.”

“It’s not easy,” Amara said with a warm smile. “But sometimes the best things aren’t. And if it’s meant to be, it’ll be worth it. So why not find out?”

After a pause, Maanvi nodded, a spark of resolve in her eyes. “Alright... I'll think about it. Thanks, Amara.”

“Anytime,”Amara replied, giving her friend’s hand a reassuring squeeze. “And just know, whatever happens, I’ve got your back.”
