I awoke to a push on my chest. Buzzing sounded in my ear as I wiped my eyes. I opened my eyes and saw Rose pushing me awake in the company of Bela and Daniela. I moved to a sitting position from a lying and looked around. Darkness still shined through the windows and the fire still burned. "What's happening?" I asked. Rose sat next to me. "We have jobs that the Lady wants to give us." I squinted my eyes. "What time is it?" I asked. Rose shrugged. "Maybe 6?" She said. I nodded and stood up. "Let's go." I said. I stood up from the chair. I watched as the girls started to walk to the same dining room that we had ate at the night before. Bela opened the door and let all of us through before shutting it behind us. I sensed a smell of coffee hit my nose.

I looked around the room as I opened my eyes once more. Daniela smiled as she stood infront of me with a cup of coffee. "Good morning, Mr. Y/n. Miss, Rose." A heavy voice rang out. I took the cup from Daniela's hands as she handed it to me. "Thank you, Daniela." I looked at the Lady as she stared me down. Her yellow eyes piercing the space between us. "Have they informed you of your titles?" The Lady asked. I shook my head and took a sip. "No." I said plainly. "I think, Daniela wanted to talk about it but we were pushed her, so..." I said with a following sip. The Lady hummed. "Fair enough. Would you like to discuss now?" She asked me. I looked over at Rose who sat down at the table. "I see no reason not to." I said as I took a seat. I sat in between Rose and Bela. "So, Mr. Y/n. I have arranged you for multiple jobs." She started, looking at a paper. I looked at Bela to see her smile. "Mondays and Fridays, you will take the role of Lumber man. Go to the woods and collect wood. A axe will be provided." She said. I nodded. "Anything else?" She hummed. "Tuesdays and Thursday's you will be at the service of whatever needs to be done and Wednesdays you will help me with "Running this village" since apparently you know more." She said with bitterness.

I nodded and downed the rest of my drink. "What day is it?" I asked her. She hummed. "Wednesday." She muttered. I nodded and set my cup to the side as the women watched me. "Shall I start now?" I asked her. My claws were folded in between each other. She nodded. "Whenever you want to." She said. I smiled and felt as my fangs showed. I unfolded my claws. "Assemble all of your maids, cooks, everything. Main hall is where they will be assembled." I said as I stood up. The lady looked at me questionably while the girls looked shocked. "May I ask why?" She questioned. I raised my hand. "You force your people to stay in the castle. You force them to live under your rule with a tight leash." I started. "Having a looser lead in a place the people can't escape gives them a sense of control. Eventually they will turn back. They will live under your fist. Now..." I turned back to the door to the main hall and opened it. "Assemble it. I will be waiting." I said as I left the dinning room. I shut the door behind me and heard as buzzing began to fly around the castle.

I waited maybe a hour before the maids all poured in. And one singular male servant. I stood to the side of the Lady. "This is them all?" I asked her. She hummed as she towered over me. "Indeed." She looked at me before looking back to her servants. "As you know, servants, we have had new guests. You will listen to them and take what they say." She said. I smiled as she backed off. The servants all stared at me, waiting for what I would say. I stepped forward. My flannel and blue jeans out of the dress code they were put in. "From here forth you all will live in the village you once called home. Everyday, you will return and do your duties. You try to leave... you die." I said. I started to pace as I spoke. "You irritate or hurt something or someone. You die. You interrup-"You ain't tough." A male voice interrupted. I smiled and licked my lips. I looked towards the Lady for approval. She nodded her head with a slight grin. I looked towards the only man in the room beside me. "Wonderful. We have an example." I said locking eyes with him. I waved my hand to bring him forward to my side. He scoffed as he unfolded his arms and walked over to me with arrogance. I looked towards the maids as I turned him around to face the crowd.
