Lala: All right! The pool!
Haruna: Lala-san sure seems happy.
Ryuto: Can you blame her? It's her first time at a water park pool.
Yui: So, why exactly are you and Yuuki-kun the only boys here... among all of us girls?

Meanwhile, Run had her eyes fixed on Ryuto.

Shortly After...
Ryuto and Rito sat on the edge of the pool, dipping their feet in and watching as the girls splashed around in the water. Rito, slightly flustered, tried (unsuccessfully) to discreetly admire Haruna in her bikini, only to be startled when Lala suddenly splashed a wave of water in his face.
Lala: Come on, Rito! Ryuto! Join us!
Rito: What was that for, Lala?! And what even is that thing?
Lala held up a massive water cannon.

Lala: It's my water gun, Bang Bang Water-kun!
Ryuto: Lala-chan, that's way too big to be called a water gun! But all right, we're coming in!
Ryuto and Rito slipped into the water. Meanwhile, Run stood nearby, her gaze fixed on Ryuto, deep in thought.
Run's thoughts: Ryuto-kun... I've tried everything to get you to notice me...
(Flashback)
At school, Ryuto was taking a quiet moment in the men's bathroom, only to feel someone suddenly wrap their arms around his neck from behind.
Run: Ryuto-kun! How are you?
Ryuto: Run-chan! W-What are you doing here?! This is the men's bathroom!
Ignoring his shock, Run stayed latched onto him, and he dashed out in a panic.
Later that day, on his way home, Ryuto noticed a suspiciously person-shaped bundle in a pile of garbage bags by the sidewalk. Just as he was about to look closer, the "bag" sprang up, and Run popped out.
Run: Ryuto-kun!
Run took a step forward, and Ryuto, still reeling from shock, stumbled and landed flat on his back.
