Ryuto and the others continued to speed through the vine-infested streets in the jeep.

Yui: We managed to break through.

Mikado: We mustn't let our guard down. This is King Deviluke we're up against.

Ryuto: Is this really all right? Not that I don't appreciate you guys helping me, but... maybe I should be doing this alone.

Saruyama: Alone? Are you kidding? The rules were absurd to begin with. That alien king has no right to complain about how you win.

Yui: Listen, Ryuto-kun. I'm not doing this for fun. I'm helping you get through this ridiculous situation, so you better make sure you get to the goal! No excuses!

Ryuto: Yui-chan...

Rito: She's right, Ryuto. You're not in this alone. No matter how strong you are, this isn't just your fight.

Ryuto turned to his brother, seeing the determination in Rito's eyes.

Rito: We're family. If I didn't step in to help you, what kind of brother would I be? Besides, I want to protect Lala, too.

Ryuto smiled faintly, appreciating his brother's words.

Ryuto: Thanks, Rito. I won't let you down.

Yui: But, I'm a bit jealous of Lala-chan. A hero trying to save Earth, rushing in like a prince on a white horse to save her...

Saruyama: You mean like a hero in a love story? Man, Ryuto, you're living the dream!

Mikado: Hold on! The next trial has appeared!

The ground ahead began to rumble. All eyes widened as the road started to crumble.

Everyone: A fissure!

Yui: We're going to fall!

Mikado swerved the vehicle to safety, bringing it to a screeching halt. The group collectively sighed in relief.

In the spaceship, Lala stared at the monitor, her worry etched deeply on her face.

Lala: Ryuto...

Unable to hold back, she turned and started running toward the exit.

Gid: Wait!

His voice boomed through the chamber, halting her in her tracks.

Gid: As the First Princess of Deviluke, it's your duty to see this through. You will remain here and witness the outcome.

His piercing gaze left no room for argument.

Gid: Sit at my side and be quiet. I order you, as your king!

Lala: Papa...

Back with the others, they all stepped out of the jeep, standing at the edge of the deep fissure.

Yui: We won't be able to move on like this.

Saruyama: It's a pretty far distance to the other side. Unless we fly over.

Ryuto: I'm still on cooldown, so flying is a no-go.

Suddenly, a familiar booming laugh echoed from above. Everyone looked up, squinting at the sound.

Saki: You look like you're in a bind, Yuuki Ryuto!

Hovering above in a helicopter were Saki, Rin, and Aya.

Saruyama: Tenjouin-senpai?!

Ryuto: Why are you here?!

Saki: We'll talk later. Hurry up and get on!
