chapter one : Death to the government

Today was elections day for Roanapur. Even with city full of crime people still believes in hope of better future with right leader

In the downtown area of the city where a huge crowd was gathered around they were cheering for the New elected mayor in the city Mr Anderson.

Mr Anderson walked up stake alongside him was police chief Watsap and other thing ranking police officers in the city.

Mr Anderson took stage he grip microphone tight and began speaking

" my dear citizen today make a historical day for our great city of ours and as your new elected mayor I promise bring change to this city you ours"

Mayor spoke to crowd scene change to one of the buildings balcony where crime lords also mister chang and Ms Balalaika watch their new pawn making hsi speech.

Mister chang was taking sip of whiskey " With this new guy here we should have more contacts around whole country " he set his glass down fixed his sunglasses.he turn to Ms Balalaika.

" so what think of our new pawn?" He ask

Balalaika smirked, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Ambitious, but naïve. He'll be useful for a while," she replied, her tone as cold and sharp as steel. "But let's hope he doesn't get too idealistic. You know how those types tend to... burn out in Roanapur."

Chang chuckled, glancing back at the stage. "In this city, idealism has a short shelf life. As long as he knows who's really in charge, we won't have any problems."

As they both look down see new mayor speaking then suddenly.

Loud gun shoot piercing the sky suddenly the mayor dropped to the ground as blood began to pool out of him. Cheer then turn scream as police officers on stage rush over cover mayor body and people began to duck down and take cover.

Police officer draw their guns begun scan area for any threats.

Ms Balalaika and mister change look done in surprise knowing they had no involved in this assassination

surprise, sharing a rare, unspoken look of confusion. They both knew they had no hand in this.

"Interesting," Chang muttered, his usual smirk replaced with a contemplative frown. He hadn't anticipated an assassination this soon, and certainly not one carried out without his or Balalaika's knowledge.

Balalaika's gaze remained fixed on the stage below, her expression cold and calculating. "Seems like someone else had an agenda," she said, her voice low, but laced with intrigue. "And they didn't bother to inform us."

Chang leaned against the balcony railing, watching the frantic movement below. "If this wasn't us, and it wasn't you... then who?" he mused, scanning the crowd with suspicion.

"Whoever it is," Balalaika replied, "they either have a death wish... or they've got power and resources we're unaware of." Her eyes glinted with a spark of danger. "Either way, we'll be finding out soon."

The two crime lords stood in silence, watching as police swarmed the scene. Beneath the surface, plans and schemes were already brewing, and both of them knew that in Roanapur, nothing remained a mystery for long.

In yellow flag bar everyone was watching TV that Bao had set up and what they saw the assassination of newly elected mayor.

" They killed him...just like that " Rock mumbles to himself as he turn around see dutch,revy and Benny looking at tv. Rock was in shock even for Roanapur.

Rock knows this would not sit will with rest of the crime lords as he had heard rumors about making more connections in country.

Revy scoffed and lit a cigarette. "Tch. What a dumbass. Thinking he could waltz in here and play hero. This ain't some fairy tale city," she muttered, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "Still, whoever pulled the trigger has some big balls-or a death wish. The crime lords aren't gonna let this slide."

Benny adjusted his glasses, shaking his head. "No kidding. I heard there were plans to expand connections across the country. That guy was supposed to be a key part of it."

Rock glanced back at the TV, a pit forming in his stomach. He'd been in Roanapur long enough to know that events like this didn't happen in isolation. There was always a ripple effect, and the city's underworld wouldn't take kindly to an unexpected power vacuum.

"This won't sit well with the crime lords," Rock said, crossing his arms. "I've heard whispers... they were banking on him to smooth over some deals, make things easier. Now? This could turn into a power grab, or worse-outright chaos."

Dutch nodded, his usual calm demeanor intact but his eyes serious. "Yeah, and guess who's probably gonna get dragged into cleaning up this mess?" He gestured toward the Lagoon crew. "If the bosses start pointing fingers or making moves, they'll need freelancers like us to move their pieces."

Revy grinned, her cigarette dangling from her lips. "Fine by me. As long as we get paid, I don't give a damn who takes the throne."

Rock sighed, feeling the weight of the situation settling in. "Let's just hope we're not already caught in the crossfire."

Lone man sat at his chair starting outside window of his room at hotel.

He wore simple brown jacket, leather coolant boots with cargo pants and he had on bandana cover his face

He pick up his case he open it up pull out his semi automatic M14 rifle.

Adjusting scoop of the gum he aim it down range to stage where his target mayor be at. Finally getting scope together he load rifle up and went back into aiming like Hunter taking down it's game

" It's all began here, sorry mayor it has be you start revolution"

Man aim down he see his target giving his speech " my dear citizen today make a historical day for our great city of ours and as your new elected mayor I promise bring change to this city you ours" crowed cheers for mayor as he countined his speech.

Mysterious man slows and softly pull trigger of his rifle.

All it took was one gun, one bullet and one man to change city.

Soon mayor was dowan quickly disambles his rifle put it in its case. Gripping case he exit room walking to emergency stairs case.

His revolution has begun
