I didn't know what Kylo Ren had done to the Jedi, but I heard the screams coming out of the holding cells. They echoed through the halls, haunting me. I tried to shake them off, focusing on my training, preparing myself for any unexpected mission that might come my way.
As I took a break, drenched in sweat, I heard the hissing sound of the door opening. I looked up and saw Kylo Ren. My heart skipped a beat, but I tried to keep my composure.
"Hi," I said, attempting to sound casual as I made my way to pick up my gym bag.
Kylo Ren's voice was cold, his mask still covering his face. "Thank you for capturing the Jedi."
I turned to face him, my brows furrowing. "What are you planning to do to him?"
Kylo Ren's stance stiffened. "That is classified."
I let out a bitter laugh, my frustration bubbling to the surface. "Is it? I can hear him screaming from the hangar. You're going to torture him to death, aren't you?"
Kylo Ren stepped closer, his dark presence looming over me. "What's my business is none of your business," he said, his voice low and threatening.
I was agape, emotions swirling inside me. I wanted to challenge him, to say something that would make him see reason, but I held back. Instead, I shook my head, feeling a surge of disappointment. "Whatever. Do you need anything else?"
Kylo Ren's eyes seemed to darken behind his mask. "I can sense that you're upset."
"Do tell," I replied, my tone mocking.
His voice hardened. "Stop mocking me. I am your Supreme Leader."
Before I could react, I felt an invisible force around my throat. My feet left the ground, and I gasped for air, my hands clawing at my neck. The pressure intensified, and tears began streaming down my cheeks. I struggled, my vision blurring as I whispered, "You're hurting me."
Suddenly, the pressure released, and I dropped to the ground, gasping for air. I looked up, tears blurring my vision as I watched Kylo Ren storm out of the room. I remained on the floor, sobbing, my body shaking.
Why was he so cold, so cruel? But then, why was he so gentle, so tender when we were alone together? Why did he keep doing this to me? My heart felt torn between two sides of him—the monster and the man. And in that moment, I wasn't sure which one I would face the next time we met.
