what.. happened?
i start my first day of kawaii-highschool tomorrow, right? i have an alarm set for 7:30... i'll wake up any moment now.
...
my eyes slowly blink open, adjusting to the lighting of my... room..!?
i quickly turn around in confusion, before meeting eyes with the boy i've met this morning.
what!?
noah smiled awkwardly... seeing me finally wake up after 6 hours of being unconscious.
"morning..." he chuckled lightly.
my body shoots up, flustered as i sit up properly in the nurse's bed.
"noah-senpai...! w-what are you doing here?" i stutter, my hair all messy again from sleeping.
he lets out another light chuckle, picking at his nails.
"you passed out when we were introducing ourselves... so, i carried you into the nurse's office." he explains as i stare in disbelief. "we're lucky that it happened right before school started. the nurse checked your temperature and told me that it was just your heartbeat going crazy out of..."
his sentence trails off, and his cheeks start to turn a soft pink again. what was he about to say?! i lean forward, curious as to what the nurse said.
"out of what?" i question noah.
he looks off at the side, his ears burning pink before he can finally respond.
".... love?"
