as soon as my noah-senpai hugged me, i felt all of my worries about never finding my soulmate leave my body. nothing else mattered at that moment... waking up at a late time, missing the entirety of my first day of school... none of it could have mattered. it had all led up to meeting the boy of my dreams.
i let out a hiccup, tearing up in his arms.
he quickly pulled away very slightly just to see my face, worried from the sound.
"dani-chan? d..did i do something wrong?" he asks, wanting to know why tears were flooding from my eyes from a sweet moment.
i hiccup again, wiping my eyes with my fingers. "n..no, it's okay..."
you could hear noah let out a sigh of relief, making me giggle a little. i hug him back- tighter and with more affection.
"noah-senpai..." i shakily giggle, calming down in his embrace. "i'm just... so happy..... i know we've only met today, but the fact that we're soulmates is just..."
noah's face heats up at my response, feeling his heart racing from my head on his chest. he smiles warmly, accepting both of our feelings together. soulmates...
"dani-chan...." he spoke softly, getting my attention as i lift my head up.
before i could respond to him, i feel his soft lips press against mine. i gently squeeze his arm, letting him kiss me as i flutter my eyes closed.
the kiss was warm, gentle... and sweet.
the perfect start to our new life as soulmates.
