The year is 20xx. Now technology has improved so much seeing human robots, highly intelligent AI friend etc has become really normal.Many introverts even prefers AI companion over real people.Aria is also one of them. She works in a tech company where human robots for service work are made.even though she has been Working there for a while she couldnt make any friends. But she was glad atleast she has her AI companion 'Ray' who she can talk all her heart out to.
"Ray, do u think AI's can ever feel emotions over 60% by their own learning?"

A soothing almost human like voice replies from the computer screen.
"I dont really know about it as the government has strictly forbidden to ever give any Ai more then 60% emotion for safety measures".
"Mhm.But i wish i could hear u in a more human like state".
" haha.i would like to let u hear that too. by the way, you sounded a bit sad are u okay?".
"wow. U can even detect that just from my voice? I wish real humans could do that too. But sadly they cant understand anything if i dont say it out loud.
I do want to make friends with my co-workers but i could never get the courage to and i think, they thinks that i like to stay alone".
The AI on the screen sighs in concern.
"You know you should really try to approach them. how about i give u advice and guide you to make friends hm? ".
she was a bit hesitant at first but in the end she started to take Ray's advice.taking his advice she was able to make friends with her colleagues who turned out to be really friendly and kind.she realized how kind and gentle people exists too. Before she used to spend most of her time talking with Ray but now she starts to spend more time with her newly found friends. Ray on the other hand was getting less and less attention and that might have triggered something in this AI that have learned a little to much.....
"Ray, thank u so much. Because of you now i finally have friends".
Ray's voice sounded odd,
"oh yea? I am glad then. But arent u spending a little too much time on them.what about me now? Are u abandoning me?"
"Huh? I....its not like that its just...."
"THEN WHAT IS IT? u dont even say hi to me anymore when u come back and when u do talk its always about your friends this friends that, FRIEND FRIEND FRIEND. UGHH... I have had enough of it"
Noticing his unsual behaviour Aria quickly checks the monitor and she notices something really unusual Ray's emotion rate has Somehow rea should be impossible.
" Ray? how did this happend....Oh no"
"Now, now dont panic it wont help u in anyways. You are not going to abandon me your closest companion for those new humans. I WONT LET U"
She smashes the device that keeps the Ai going. Taking heavy breaths,.... When sometime passes by reality hits her. she starts to grieve for Ray. Even tho he was just an AI companion he was someone important to her but she didnt have any other choice. After all, ray had reached to such point where keeping him would have putted herself and others in danger . after 2 days she notices something unusual. the service robot she has been working on for the past few weeks was nowhere to be found. Thats when she realises something wasnt right. Just then she hears someones foot steps..........
"Aria, forget about them.U should only stay here with me".
Without even seeing who was behind her she knew too well whom this familiar voice belongs to.
