When Yin Ji returned to the palace, he was covered in blood. The court officials were immediately alarmed and rushed over. A large group of people crowded into the Xingqing Palace where Yin Ji was temporarily staying.
Cai Tianxi persuaded a group of people to leave, but Qin Shi and the old Prince An refused to leave. The former was really afraid that something would happen to the emperor, and he watched with trepidation while the imperial physician bandaged him.
It was hard to say what the latter thought privately, but he looked kind and worried, and kept crying beside him. Not sure if he thought the emperor was not well.
But in fact, although Yin Ji was injured in a vital part, it was not fatal. It just looked scary. Most of the blood on his body came from the tiger.
"Qin Qing and Uncle An, go back. I'm fine, don't worry about me."
Seeing him speak with full energy, Qin Shi breathed a sigh of relief: "It's good that you’re fine, it's good that you’re fine..."
He recited a Buddhist, which made Yin Ji want to laugh. Qin Shi was a Confucian student and never believed in Buddhism. He was probably frightened by the blood just now.
He was somewhat touched in his heart. Although the person sitting in this position would be loyal to whoever it was, he still didn't want to ignore this bit of warmth.
"I heard that tiger bones are nutritious, so let someone make a jar of tiger bone wine and send it to Qin Qing."
Qin Shi hurriedly thanked him. He only liked two things in his life, one was books and the other was wine. Yin Ji's reward really touched his heart. As soon as he left the palace, he pulled Cai Tianxi to ask when the wine would be ready.
Old Prince An was somewhat envious. On the way here, he saw the tiger. It was so strong, and its fur was almost undamaged. It was so rare. He immediately fell in love with the tiger skin and waited eagerly for Yin Ji to give it to him.
However, after Yin Ji finished talking to Qin Shi, he only glanced at him lightly: "Uncle An, you have taken a lot of trouble. Go back and rest."
Old Prince An was a little anxious. Qin Shi could get a tiger bone by saying a few words. He was the emperor's uncle, how could he have nothing?
"Your Majesty, I am worried about you. Why don't I stay here to serve you?"
"No need."
The old Prince An was still unwilling: "Your Majesty..."
"The old prince was injured before, and Your Majesty has been thinking about you, fearing that you are tired," Cai Tianxi smiled and continued, "Look, he even specifically asked the servant to prepare a sedan chair to take you back."
With the previous experience, Cai Tianxi was particularly polite when speaking to the old Prince An, but he didn't expect the other party to change his face and his eyes turned cold in an instant: "What a good servant, so dedicated, this favour will be remembered by the prince."
As soon as the voice fell, he threw his sleeves and left.
Cai Tianxi couldn't help frowning. He really didn't know what he said just now was wrong. How could he provoke someone again? He didn't know that the other party was angry with him because he didn't get what he wanted and couldn't do anything to the emperor.
But he was a servant in the palace, and he didn't have much contact with the old Prince An. Even if they had a bad relationship, it wouldn't be a big deal. He simply put his doubts behind him and quickly approached Yin Ji to see his injury.
The imperial physician had already bandaged the wound, and was wrapping Yin Ji's neck with a circle of fine cloth. Looking at this, he looked fatter.
He was stunned: "Imperial Physician Liao, is the emperor seriously injured? Why is it wrapped so thickly?"
