Chapter 2

Esther Samuel's Origin Chapter 2:

Another day of high school, but for Amanda it was her final year. She's finally going to be a senior high and finally take her course. Arts and Design.

When Amanda entered, she saw some of her old classmates. Exchanging "Hi's" and waves. While some she chose to ignore. Seeing her old classmate with their old "barkada" (group of friends). Her on the other hand, always ended up by herself.

She did have friends, but they weren't that close to begin with. She did have a best friend too. But for some reason, life decided to separate them by her moving to another region. Now she's back for being by herself.

When the purpled haired girl arrived at her classroom. She saw her old ones and some new unrecognizable faces. She chose the back seat as usual, chilling with the other quiet ones in the classroom and also the territory of some loud friend group. Though this time, she made sure she is away from them. Grabbing her earphones and proceeded to type in her tablet. Reflecting her thoughts, then ended up continuing a chapter of the story that she was working on. The fanfiction that many of her readers love.

Class started as usual. Amanda being stressed about it, thinking that education is meaningless. At least for her, cause she's an artist and writer, she doesn't need this. But her parents says its for security such as bills, buying a house that costs millions, food and hospital bills. Only the lucky ones gets to succeed in art and writing field as a career. So she's forced to take these educations.

But she actually feel stressed out and depress about it. "Hold on, just one more year..."

She thought.

TIMESKIP

It was time for the class to come home, but she just happened to be the cleaners today. So she stayed there for another 30 minutes. Time pass then finally, it's time for her to go home.

Her other classmates finally entered the classroom cause there just happens to be an After School Program today. When she was about to leave, a young lady decided to stop her.

"Hey, where ya going girl? Our session is about to start." She spoke to her sweetly.

"Umm..." Amanda move uncomfortably and answered, "... I didn't sign up for this program"

"Oh is that so?" The lady spoke, then she gestured to the group who are sitting down and rounding up the tables. "You can join us, it's a fun group gathering."

'Really? With my classmates? No thanks!' She thought, she made a lot of embarrassing moments in front of them and there's no way.

"Umm, no thanks, I have some place to be." She answered and thankfully, she heard her phone ring. "Oh. Im gonna take this, bye."

The lady's face frowned for a bit then waved "Okay, bye"

Amanda opened her phone and saw that it was her mom, she answered and heard "Ez, you still at school?"

"Yeah why?"

"Perfect! Stay there, me and your father decided to pick you up about an hour. We're eating out tonight."

"Sure..."

She sigh, but hey, delicious food later!

She went back to the classroom and decided to stay there. Its too hot outside after all.

She sat down at the back, sketching while listening to her favorite youtubers who pass down a very important knowledge in her life. Completely ignoring her surroundings until...

"Hey there..." She looked up and saw that sweet lady again. Tapping at her shoulder, so she can look up. "I thought you have places to go to."

'SIGH, why cant she leave me be. I have novel and art that I needed to finish today.' The quiet girl thought.
