Ch-11.

In class -

First lecture went on well. On second lecture the teacher was absent. So, half of the time, they were just doing their own things. Sofia came to sit beside Harin. Who was spacing out most of the time. She didn't felt her presence. Sofia swung her arm around her shoulder. She looked at her, eyes wide.

"Ahh! You scared me" she said pouting in angry as Sofia just laughed.

"What are you thinking? Oh sorry- about whom you are thinking?" Asked Sofia wiggling her brows. Harin rolled her eyes.

"Nothing silly. Just about studies."she said lying smoothly. (She was thinking about encounter with her brother at gate.)

" Ohk. I'll go to Ms. Park, she wants my current details. Sit hm" said Sofia and went out of the class. Harin just closed her eyes putting head on the desk.

After few minutes-

" Excuse me Miss" someone called her, knocking the desk. She looked up, it was the exchanged student.

Lee Heesung

Everyone was scared of him because he is always involved in fights and caught smoking outside the University. Now he found a new target Harin. Every girl was his fangirl but Harin never even looked at him.

"Y-yes." Said Harin frightened by him, as he smirked.

" You are not that beautiful, then what's with that attitude." He said trying to touch her hand but she quickly removes it.

"G-go away or I'll complain to professor." Said Harin.

" Oh the small lamb will fight the wolf hmm~" he said and laughed like maniac. Now whole class was watching them.

"Come on, talk to me~" he said and sat beside her. She quickly shifted as he did too.

" M-move! It's m-my seat" she said a bit louder this time. But he just chuckled darkly. He looked annoyed now. He cursed something bad and banged the desk. Harin flinched and covered her ears. No one dared to stop him as they knew they can't.

" Do what I say, or be ready to face the consequences. I can do anything. If you complain anyone or ask for help, you can't even imagine what I will do with him!" He said gritting his teeth. Before he does anything the bell rang.

Harin got up and ran outside the class. Heesung smirked and got up too slowly following her. The hallways were empty as classes still going on.

' P-please be there' she prayed silently, running towards the entrance. But as she neared the the building entrance she heard some footsteps she looked back, Heesung smirked mouthing
' don't tell anyone' and ran away thinking it might be a professor.

Harin looked back, there came Vernon.

She ran towards him, seeing him her tears fell in both fear and relief.
While Vernon looked confused and worried.

She hugged him burying her face in his chest. He stood stiff. She sobbed. He tried to remove her hands. due to sudden touch, he got surprised. She shook her head.

"H-Hansolie" she said clutching his jacket. she felt secure in his arms. Like no one can do anything to her now.

So, Vernon protectively held her waist, pulling her more close. Rubbing her back calming her.

"What happened?! Why you running? And from whom?" He asked. His voice possesive.

Harin thought for a while. She remembered what Heesung said.
' what if he does something bad to Hansolie' she thought.

'Tell me." He asked again.
Harin mumbled something, which he didn't understood.
She broke the hug sniffling. Vernon caressed her cheek and wiped her tears with his sleeve.

" you tell me or I'll ask every single student of your class." He declared, Harin shook her head.

" J-just a b-boy, he was fighting there, so I got s-scared and ran away from there" she lied to him.

"Who was he? I'll fix that jerk rat" he said breaking his knuckles. His eyes burning.

" No! You don't have to. Those are bad ones,the professor will solve it. Don't worry. " she said holding his rough hands with her soft ones. Her eyes showing worry.

Vernon's heart skipped a beat. He looked at her. Before he could say something, she nervously leaves his hand. He cleared his throat.

" Let's go to the drama club. Are you okay now?" He asked.

" Yess. Absolutely! Look at me, Am I looking bad?" She asked giggling.

Vernon stared at her intimately. His eyes glued on her cute smiling face. She stopped smiling and noticed him. He softly touches her forehead and fixed the hair strands tugging them behind her ear. She stood stiff.

"I can't take my eyes off the beauty you radiate with that sparkling smile." He said softly caressing her cheeks.

Her eyes widened at his compliment. Her jaw dropped hearing the sweet words.
He smiled at her shocked face and held her chin gently to close her mouth.
she smiled getting shy. A blush crept on her cheeks. She hit his chest softly which didn't affected him at all.
She hide her face in her hands.

"Why you!?!-ughjjkjhjsjgfgsdz" she struggled to say.
Vernon chuckled at her cuteness. He thought teasing her, he smirked and asked.

" What Harin~? I am what?" He asked tilting his head. She peeped out like a small rabbit behind the bushes.

"You are being so nice and sweet to me... Like I am someone special."
She said in small voice.

" You are special." Said Vernon.

"Th-Thanks... but stop it now~" she whinned. Vernon laughed and patted her head.

"Let's go." He said and turned Harin to lead the way.

But they didn't know that someone was looking at them and heard them. That was Sofia.
'these two idiots are so clueless' she thought.
she just smiled and went to her class.

They started walking. At every step Harin looked back nervously, there stand Vernon motioning her to walk.she stopped and turned back.

"C-Can I walk by your side please? It feels awkward." She asked him looking down.

"Ofcourse." He said smiling. Harin too gave a big toothy smile. They went to the drama club enjoying each others company without even sharing a word.
