"Cheer up, baby," Taehyung cooed softly, reaching out to gently tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear. "It's your day to shine. Don't be nervous, okay? Everything will be fine, hm?"
Jungkook looked up at him, her lips forming a small pout that made her seem impossibly cute despite the nerves. She leaned her head against his shoulder, letting out a soft sigh, as if hoping his presence alone could ease the knot of anxiety in her chest.
Taehyung chuckled at her adorable gesture, wrapping an arm around her shoulders to pull her closer. "Aigoo, my baby bunny needs some extra comfort today, huh?" he teased lightly.
Without waiting for her response, he scooped her up effortlessly and placed her on his lap. Jungkook let out a surprised squeak before snuggling into his chest, burying her face against the warm crook of his neck. His strong hand moved soothingly along her back, the rhythmic motion calming her racing thoughts.
Jungkook closed her eyes and let out a soft hum, seeking comfort in the familiar scent of his cologne. Unable to help herself, she began to pepper soft kisses on his neck, her lips lingering on his skin. She nibbled gently, her way of grounding herself in the moment.
Taehyung laughed softly, the deep rumble of his voice vibrating against her. "Are you trying to mark me as your emotional support?" he teased, gently pulling her face away from his neck.
Jungkook's cheeks burned crimson as she looked up at him, her lips slightly parted, her eyes wide with embarrassment. "I-I was just... calming myself," she mumbled, refusing to meet his gaze.
Taehyung smirked, cupping her flushed cheeks in his large hands. His thumbs traced gentle circles on her skin as he stared at her with nothing but adoration. "You're too cute for your own good, you know that?" he murmured. "But listen, my love—you've worked so hard for this moment. No one deserves this success more than you. So, hold that beautiful head of yours high and show the world just how amazing you are."
Jungkook's lips curved into a small, shy smile as his words began to soothe the lingering doubts in her mind. She nodded, resting her forehead against his as she whispered, "Thank you, Tae... for everything."
"Always, baby," he whispered back, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead. "Now, finish your pancakes, or you'll be late for your big day." Jungkook flashed her signature bunny smile, her eyes crinkling adorably as she gobbled up the remaining pancake that Taehyung playfully fed her. He smiled fondly, his free hand stroking her hair and waist soothingly, as if trying to infuse her with calm confidence for the big day ahead.
Once breakfast was done, the two made their way upstairs. Jungkook disappeared into the bathroom to change, leaving Taehyung lounging on the bed, a mix of excitement and pride bubbling in his chest.
When the bathroom door opened, Taehyung's breath hitched. There stood Jungkook, her petite figure clad in a tailored suit that screamed confidence and elegance. She was the perfect blend of cute and commanding, her doe eyes framed by her soft features but her posture exuding professionalism.
