✿ AUTHOR’S POV ✿
Two Hours Later…
Netra Aunty gently woke Radhika from her nap. As she stirred, rubbing her eyes, it took her only a moment to realize she was no longer in the familiar comfort of her own home.
Her gaze fell upon Netra Aunty, who was smiling at her warmly. “Bahurani, the party will begin in an hour. You should start getting ready,” she informed her.
Radhika nodded and got out of bed. Moments later, a beautician arrived and began working on her makeup.
An Hour Later…
Netra Aunty knocked on Radhika’s door. The beautician opened it, and Netra Aunty, in a hurried tone, asked, “Where is Bahurani? The party is about to start.”
The beautician simply pointed towards the dazzling figure standing before the mirror—a vision in a shimmering white saree.
“Oh my goodness,” Netra Aunty gasped, taken aback.
“Aunty… do I not look good?” Radhika asked hesitantly.
“No, Bahurani,” Netra Aunty reassured her, admiration evident in her eyes. “You look like an angel.”
Radhika smiled softly. “Thank you.”
Turning to the beautician, she added, “And thank you, Meera.”
With that, Netra Aunty gently escorted Radhika toward the garden area of the mansion, where the reception was being held.
Meanwhile, at the mansion’s entrance, Annirudha stood impatiently, his sharp eyes scanning the path, awaiting her arrival.
“Sir, Ma’am has arrived,” Vinay informed him.
At that moment, Annirudha turned, his gaze locking onto the ethereal beauty walking towards him.
A single word escaped his lips, almost involuntarily.
“Beautiful.”

✿ RADHIKA’S POV ✿
I rarely get the luxury of an afternoon nap, especially back in Rishikesh, where responsibilities always kept me occupied. But today was different.
As I was drifting between sleep and wakefulness, I heard a gentle voice calling my name. Opening my eyes, I found Netra Aunty standing beside me, her face filled with warmth. She reminded me that the party was set to begin in an hour and that I needed to get ready. The beautician had already arrived.
Soon after, the beautician, Meera, began working on my makeup. As she applied the finishing touches, she commented with a smile, “Mehra Sahab is truly fortunate to have found a beauty like you.”
Her words sent a shy blush creeping up my cheeks.
Once she was done, I slipped into the exquisite shimmering white saree, with Meera’s help. She then carefully placed diamond earrings on me and left my hair open, cascading down my back.
A while later, Netra Aunty arrived. Her heartfelt compliments reminded me of my mother, making me wonder if she, too, would have admired me the same way had she still been alive.
Netra Aunty led me towards the main entrance. And there, waiting for me, was the most handsome man I had ever seen—Mr. Mehra.
Like many others, I had often admired his features—his sharp jawline, his tall, commanding presence, his effortless charm. A man like him could have married any woman in the world… and yet, he hadn’t. Why? Only God knows.
