as victoria sets up her microphone and her earbuds, anticipating on the interview. the man she would be interviewing still a mystery lingers her curiosity to the max.

"gavira, you're up for your post-match interview with jude bellingham."

that name, ringing in her head at least a million times, always hearing of it since she started her career.

emotions of happiness and worry filled her mind as she swallowed hard. gripping even harder on her microphone.

while anxiously waiting a figure approaches the stand, a smirk appearing on his face immediately as soon as jude saw who it was. she straightened her posture, plastering a sweet smile.

before, he was dreading to do an interview. since his team lost; he just wanted to go home and sleep.

"tori, its been a while hasn't it?" the camera pans to jude, holding his hand out for victoria to shake. obviously not wanting to hug her since he hasn't showered.

"it has been quite some time, but your name has been heard basically everywhere!" victoria chuckles while the crew sets up jude's mic piece.

"quite a surprise that you would be interviewing the one and only." jude says while staring at her features, mesmerized by her long wavy hair. swaying every time she adjusts herself. he's always been fond of her since they we're kids; just too scared to pursue.

"it's an honor to be interviewing you, but i do feel some sympathy to you. since the game result didn't go in your favor." he looks down for a second while hearing that. "can you share your opinions on how things went in madrid?"

"it was a tough match, no doubt about it. we could've executed things better, but at the end of the day; huge props to barcelona for their performance. this loss is more of a lesson then a punishment."

they continue with their interview for a couple of more minutes, speaking on some highlights of the game, his performance, and what he takes from this result.

victoria realizing how mature and grown jude has become. not that salty little boy when they would play together. really admiring to his development as a footballer.

"i'd like to personally thank you for taking up this interview. really hoping for an awesome season ahead of you."

"no, i'd like to thank you. your questions are really like no other, keep up the good work tori."

he winks at her while he removes his mic pieces and heads to the locker room.

the moment that i saw him, it's like i was brought back all those years. just the two of us in our own little world.

with his confidence and head held high, even after a humbling loss. now being directly faced at me; his smirk he always did doing numbers on me.

his responses to my questions truly fascinated me, with a relaxed and mature tone. even if some of my questions we're harsh. but disappointment was still written all over his face. still coping with the loss of the club he gives his all to.
