Delilah Raye Bradford is the daughter of Victor Bradford, CEO of VivaGlobe Industries. She was taught to be hard-driven and well focused, meaning that she was set on her one dream—to get into a prestigious university.
The Bradfords were known for being intelligent. Victor Bradford was a successful CEO, Helena Bradford was a well known lawyer in the USA due to her defensive abilities, and Frederick Bradford was a soon-to-be Oncologist. All Delilah wanted to do all her life... was to continue her family legacy. To become a successful person and leave an imprint of her duties on the world.
Aside from her academic determination, the girl had a strong connection to the waters and the animals that lived in it. She also found peace in the ocean.
As her senior year starts as a fresh adult, she is brought upon more stress than before. Her grades started to slip, and she was in a place she thought was inescapable. The strong girl front she put up wasn't helping her anymore, she was nowhere near strong. She was beginning to feel weak.
On a walk at the beach, she spots a familiar face, one she had not seen in years. Rafe Cameron, the son of Ward Cameron. She knew who he was because their fathers were business partners ans they had met briefly when they were around thirteen. However, he was much different now than back then. He was ruder, and less likeable.
But, their bond is deepened by another encounter at a party thrown at the beach a few days later.
After spending a lot of time with Rafe, Delilah's academics were at the lowest of the lows. She was barely passing all of her subjects, and everybody around her had grown mad about it. She knew she had to isolate herself again, to be the best version of herself. But she knew she couldn't, because a smart person like her, had fallen inlove with a man who could tear her away from the dream she wanted to make come true.
