In Gaza's fields where shadows tread,
Children's laughter once was spread.
Now silence reigns where life once bloomed,
A testament to hope entombed.Little hearts that beat so bright,
Snuffed too soon by endless night.
Their dreams now carried by the breeze,
Whispered through the olive trees.
Tiny shoes left in the sand,
Ghostly echoes of a hand.
They reached for stars that shone above,
For peace, for safety, for simple love.
Martyrs, innocent and pure,
Their names engraved, a wound so sure.
Not warriors, but dreams denied,
Their memory, a nation's pride.O world, can you hear their song?
A plea for right, a cry for wrong.
Remember them, these souls so small,
The ones who bore it, one and all.
May their stories light the way,
Till dawn brings forth a peaceful day.
For every child whose wings took flight,
We guard their dreams; we guard their light.
