me and my dad sat at our table at somewhere named "gocha's breakfast bar". it was my first time being there since i dont really eat out as much. r&b music played throughout the packed restaurant as i looked through the menu.

"how's school going so far? ms. senior." he said as i looked up and smiled. "well, its pretty good and classes are going pretty smoothly. my gpa is like a 3.5." i said as he nodded.

"man my senior year was easy as hell, it was like a detailed version of junior year, but more subjects." he said as i nodded. "yeah, i don't really have any hard or difficult classes, and most of them i had junior year." he nodded. "do you have a car yet?" he asked as i shook my head no. "not yet, i was saving up for a car this Christmas." i said looking at the menu while still talking.

"thats good, how's jahmir?" he asked as I looked up, "you know how she is, jahmir, shes just her." i said as he nodded. "how's she doing? what job she got?" he asked as I furrowed my eyebrows, "i think shes a real estate agent." i said as my dad nodded. "thats a good job for her." he said as i agreed. shortly later after we spoke the waitress came over

"hello, my name is Vivian and i'll be your server today, ready to order or drinks?" she said as i looked at her, "i'm ready to order, you?" i looked at my father as he nodded, agreeing. "yes, we are ready to order, could i get the starter's chicken and waffles, and my meal south Fulton steak and eggs?" he asked as she nodded, writing his order on the note pad.

"and for you?" she asked as i looked down on the menu one more time. "could i just get fish and grits with a side of french toast?" i asked as she hummed and wrote my order down, "and for y'all's drinks?" she looked at both of us, "half and half, thank you." she wrote that down, "you?" she said to me. "a shirley temple would be great, thank you." i said as she hummed. "y'alls food will be out in 15 to 30 minutes." she said as we nodded, and she walked away.

"i'm so hungry." i said as he laughed.

"brunch was good, now where are we going?" i asked as we walked to my dad's truck he got in on his side and i got in myself.

"it's a surprise." he said as he started his car, "you know i hate surprises daddy." i whined as he laughed. "be calm." he said as we drove out the parking lot. "alright." i said huffing laying back in my seat, grabbing my phone out my purse i had 3 missed calls from zaymir. i sighed as i opened his text messages.

I looked at my phone screen taking a sigh of relief as the three typing dots popped up on my screen.

i folded my legs as "I Promise U That" started to play. i opened zaymir's texts as i read what he had said.

"get off your phone, we here." he tapped my shoulder as i looked up and we was at a Lamborghini dealership. i got out and looked around. "you brought me to buy my own car?" i asked him smiling as he shook his head no. "put this on." he gave me a white blindfolded as i grabbed it putting it on my eyes, as he tied it up, he grabbed my hand and
walked me somewhere.

i felt the cold breeze outside as i shivered. "i know you was like you wanted to buy a car on Christmas, but i got it for you today, i hope you love it baby girl." he said unblind folding me as i saw the all black Lamborghini urus truck wrapped in a red ribbon. i started to get emotional and screaming jumping as he recorded my reaction, i held my hands over my face as tears of joy came down my face. "oh my god!!" i said still smiling and walking to my dad giving him a hug.

"thank you daddy." i said as i continued to cry, happily. "stop crying june, your welcome. look at it." he said laughing. i wiped my eyes and walked to the drivers side, getting into the car seeing my name interpreted into the dashboard. "this is cute as fuckk, excuse me for cussing but oh my godd!" i said as he gave me the keys as i put the keys in and the car turned on and the engine revved.

"this is a beautiful gift, i don't know how i could repay you, thank you daddy." i said thanking him again as i hugged him. "your welcome, all i need is love for you to repay me." he said smiling as he put his phone in his pocket and walked to the passenger to get in.

"test drive?" he asked as i closed the door and pulled the center console back into drive as i drove out of the dealership, turning onto the street, going to the nearest gas station, "can you go in and get me a water and some takis please, heres the money." I said as i passed his the 20 dollar bill and he got out. i grabbed my phone out my pocket and connected my to the bluetooth to play music.

once it was connected i played No Friends by lil baby.
