Y/n's POV:
The day passed in a blur of nerves and overthinking. Madelyn, of course, took every opportunity to tease me about my "date."
"It's not a date," I kept insisting as I tried on my third outfit in front of the mirror. "It's just... two people meeting up to look at the view."
Madelyn leaned against the doorway, smirking. "Right. Just two people. One of whom happens to be Kenan Yildiz. The same Kenan Yildiz who asked you to meet him at Florence's most romantic spot at sunset."
I rolled my eyes but didn't argue. She wasn't wrong. The idea of seeing Kenan again made my stomach twist into a complicated knot of excitement and nerves. I kept replaying his messages in my mind, his words calm and reassuring.
As 6PM approached, I finally decided on a simple outfit—nothing too flashy, but something that made me feel confident. I posted a picture on Instagram:

___________________________________"You look beautiful," Madelyn said, giving me a thumbs-up. "Go enjoy yourself. And text me if you faint."
"Ha-ha," I said dryly, grabbing my bag and heading out.
When I arrived at Piazzale Michelangelo, the view took my breath away. The city stretched out below, bathed in hues of gold and pink as the sun began to set. The air was filled with the soft hum of tourists and the occasional strum of a street musician's guitar.
I spotted Kenan almost immediately. He was standing near the railing, his hands in his pockets, looking completely at ease. When he saw me, he smiled, that same warm expression from the restaurant.
"Hey," he said as I walked up. "Glad you made it."
Kenan's POV
When I saw her walking toward me, I couldn't help but smile. She looked nervous but so beautiful, her eyes darting around as if trying to take in the entire view at once.
"Hey," I said as she reached me. "Glad you made it."
"Of course," she said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "This view is incredible."
"It is," I agreed, though my eyes lingered on her for a moment longer than they should have. "It's one of my favorite spots in Florence. Peaceful, away from noise."
She nodded, leaning against the railing beside me. For a moment, we just stood there, watching the sun dip lower in the sky.
"Thanks for inviting me," she said softly. "I needed this. After this morning, I felt like crawling into a hole."
I chuckled. " I get it. The first time I saw a random photo of myself online, I wanted to disappear, too. But you get used to it."
"I don't think I could ever get used to it," she admitted, turning to face me. "How do you handle it?"
"It's not easy," I said honestly. "But I try to focus on the positives. It's part of the job, and I love what I do. Moments like this—being here, meeting people like you—they remind me why it's worth it."
Her cheeks flushed, and she quickly looked away. I didn't mind. I liked that she didn't know exactly how to act around me. It made her real, unlike so many others.
