Backstory: Nova's biological father rejected her for not being a son and wanted Nova dead. He ordered Nova's mother to drown her. Nova's mother refused and hid in a cave where she raised Nova alone. Until when Nova was 12 months old Nova's father finds their cave and is so angry that he kills Nova's mother. He then blamed the mother's death on Nova and her pack all attack her and give her scars but the worst ones include: 3 claw marks on her stomach forever reminding her of the day she lost her mother.
Nova ran away from her pack and was found unconscious in the snow by Manny, Ellie, and Diego. Manny and Ellie decide to adopt Nova and becomes a well known member of the herd.
