The new decay of winter aches my soulWinter's harsh lust is extreme and daring She takes away my breath. She takes a toll. And despite her claimed wishes of caringHer relentless undying pain kills meWinter is fading, a new dawn arrivesAs she goes, her last kiss lands and I'm freeAnd a new smile forms behind deadly knivesLife emerges as it always will, anewAnd a harsh reality holds me blindEven so I will keep on and push throughI'm sure that her song still plays in my mindAnd Winter returns and she sings a songLove is gone and daring lust carries on.
