Five incredible years had passed since Y/N and Uzi were together, and with each day, their bond grew deeper. The path they tread was far from normal-battles, challenges, and moments of quiet bliss. Throughout that, they had learned to be each other's rock and found strength with each other. Aside from that and part of her commitment to their union, Uzi had taken Y/N's last name-very telling about how deeply connected they were and would be for the times ahead.
Tonight, they sat side by side in the cozy living room. Dimmed candlelight shone bright on their faces, casting a warm tint over the room. Y/N twirled the glass full of deep red wine and took a slow sip while Uzi watched him, with a sparkle in her eyes. Softly, a giggle escaped her lips and resounded through the silence.
Uzi: "Come on now, Y/N. You know you'll end up damaging yourself if you drink too much."
Her tone teasingly mocked him, but her concern was genuine. She reached out and laid her hand over his gently.
Y/N: "Right. you always know how to keep me grounded."
He set the wine glass down, a smile playing at his lips. For one moment, he just looked at her, taking in how her eyes sparkled in the dim light. Then, as if remembering something, his expression changed, and excitement lit up his face.
Y/N: "Oh, by the way, Uzi. I got you something for our fifth anniversary."
Uzi's eyes widened in surprise, her metallic features softening with emotion.
Uzi: "You shouldn't have!"
But there was a gleam of curiosity as she watched Y/N reach behind the couch and pull out a small, neatly wrapped gift. He handed it to her with a slight, almost shy smile. Slowly she unwrapped the gift, her fingers moving with deliberate care, until she revealed what lay inside—a USB drive, sleek and unassuming.
Uzi: "What is this?"
There was so much confusion in her tone, yet she was expecting something. Y/N indeed leaned further, a spark of excitement in his eyes.
Y/N: "That, my dear, is a patch. It'll protect you from sunlight exposure, so you won't have to worry about getting burned during the day."
Then, the words sank in, and Uzi's expression shifted from surprise to something deeper: gratitude, love, and a hint of shock. She was dumbfounded for a little while. Then, out of nowhere, she threw her arms around Y/N, embracing him firmly.
Uzi: "Oh, Y/N. this is the best gift you have ever given me. besides yourself, of course."
Her voice cracked slightly as she buried her face into his shoulder. Y/N chuckled softly, wrapping his arms around her in return, holding her close. He could feel her heartbeat, steady and strong, a reminder of how far they had come together.
Y/N: "Heh. well, I guess I'm just full of surprises."
They stayed that way for a moment, enjoying the closeness and the warmth of that instant. The patch was just more than a piece of cloth; it was the symbol of Y/N's pledge to make Uzi's life better, safer, and brighter.Uzi:"You could take me to that planet you were worrying about my safety"
Y/n:"I could but the ship is rusty so It will take long to repairs"
Uzi:"Oh...I guess" they both pause
Uzi:"Y/n I want a kid" Uzi's words hung in the air, charged with longing and a determined edge. Y/N stared into her, dumbfounded for a moment. They sat in the poorly lit kitchen, the hum of machinery outside barely perceptible over the tension that abruptly pulled taut inside the room. He blinked hard a few times, trying to process what he just had heard.
Y/N: "W-what?"
He managed to choke out, his voice full of surprise and disbelief. Uzi's expression was stern as her eyes stayed focused, unyielding.
Uzi: "You heard me, Y/N. I want kids."
She angled herself a bit, her hands falling on the table. Her eyes were ablaze-a determination that Y/N knew all too well. He opened his mouth, shut it, then rubbed the back of his neck. This was not a conversation he had ever expected to have, most especially considering their circumstance.
Y/N: "Uzi, I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but. I'm human, and you're a worker drone. I don't think our biology works that way. I mean, maybe adoption is an option? We could give a child a great home and—"
He was rambling now, latching onto something rational, but Uzi cut him off.
Uzi: "No."
The argument was now beyond her voice, and she leaned in closer, softening but never budging.
Uzi: "I want our kid to have our genetics. To be a part of both of us. I've thought about this a lot, Y/N. And besides."
A ghost of a smile played on her lips.
Uzi: "My mom said it's possible. With my Solver abilities, I can make it work."
Y/N blinked again, taken aback. He hadn't expected it to extend to. reproduction.
Y/N: (Of course she said that.)
He thought to himself, remembering Uzi's mother and her quite frankly, fierce personality, and the not-subtle hints for grandchildren-or, well, grand-worker-drone-children, or whatever they'd be.
Y/N: "I get it now. Your mom's really pushing for grandkids, huh?"
Uzi crossed her arms and gave him a smirk.
Uzi: "Oh, absolutely. She's already knitting tiny clothes, you know. We've had conversations."
Y/N let out a strained laugh. He didn't know whether to be amused, worried, or both. He looked at Uzi, searching for any hint that she might be joking, but all he saw was sincerity.
Y/N: "Uzi. this is a lot to take in."
He stood up, pacing across the small kitchen space. The idea of having a child with Uzi-a living mix of their very special features-was surreal. Still, deep down, he couldn't not say that part of him was interested, even hopeful. He stopped pacing and faced her, his face serious.
Y/N: "So. how would this work, exactly? You said something about your Solver making it possible?"
Uzi nodded. Her eyes gleamed bright with excitement and nerves.
Uzi: "Yes. It won't be easy, and there are. risks. But I believe it's possible. We would both have to be sure, though."
She leaned in, catching his hand, her touch warm despite her metal exterior. Y/N felt the surge of emotion-love, fear, hope-all in one mess. He squeezed her hand tightly, meeting her gaze.
Y/N: "Uzi. I love you. If it is something you really want, we'll figure it out together."
Her eyes softened at this, and she smiled-one of those rare, genuine smiles that caused Y/N's heart to stop momentarily.
Uzi: "That was all I needed."
In that moment, both knew this would be another hurdle, most likely the biggest one. But impossible odds had been overcome before, and together they would take this leap into the void, prepared for whatever was in store for them and any future family they might one day have.(Okay so I'll make this short because I want some of you to make fan art of Y/n and Uzi child can it be Fully Human(With mechanical inside), Fully Worker drone (But with Human organs), Or a Cyborg, Also I spin a Wheel and it Female so yeah see you all in future chapters, I also picked a Name so Yeah Bye)
