EA

We were already in our positions, each of us in our designated spots.

We were in the area where our allies were about to be executed.

Using Tomo's telepathy, we communicated with each other.

Zed remained in a higher position, acting as our eyes and guide, using his ability to see far distances. He was essentially our CCTV.

"I see them! One kilometer from where EA is standing."

I was currently positioned in an open field near some bleachers, hiding behind a table.

Zen was on the other side of the bleachers.

Tomo and Drey were inside the buildings.

Bryle was in a construction site nearby.

"So they made an underground facility," I muttered. Why didn't they think our team could also have made an underground hideout? Tsk. It's better that they didn't figure it out.

"Where's the entrance?" Zen asked.

"Wait, I'll try to contact them." Tomo responded.

Silence.

"I can't reach Master. No response."

Suddenly, we heard a high-pitched sound. It might be due to Tomo's powers, since we noticed the guards didn't seem to react to anything out of the ordinary.

"I've got Jorge!"

Then we heard someone speaking.

"Guards! Guards! What's this noise? Is this part of our torture? Huhuhu, stop it! My ears will bleed!" It was Jorge's voice.

By the way, Jorge Jones—(18) is an Earth elemental mage, and he's gay.

"Jorge? It's Tomo!" There was a brief silence on the other end.

"Oh, Tomo the telepath? Where are you guys?"

"Don't speak, someone might hear you. How's everything there? Are there any CCTV cameras, Jorge? Don't do anything out of the ordinary, we need to stay low and avoid drawing attention from the enemy."

"Copy, um, the cell I'm in has anti-power devices, of course, so we can't escape. I think it's coming from the ceiling."

"Jorge, do you know any way into that place?" I inserted myself into their conversation.

"EA? EA! It's really you! I'm glad you're safe." I could tell from his voice that Jorge was smiling. He's one of my close friends at the hideout, and it made me happy to know he was okay. "I don't know many ways in. When we got here, I fainted. I woke up chained with anti-ability cuffs, inside an elevator. It was going down."

"Guys, the elevator is in the building under construction, close to where Bryle is." Zed added.

"Zed? Are you there too?" Jorge asked.

"Yeah, Jorge. It's me, Tomo, EA, Bryle, Drey, and Zen," Zed responded.

"But be careful, they've made new enemies. They're flying megaments they call Aeroments. After that, I pretended to still be asleep and saw that they brought Master into the first room."
