I bolt for the nearest exit, but my path is blocked by Antoinette, her eyes glowing a fierce, unnatural yellow. "I'm sorry, Amelia, but you're not going anywhere." As the supernatural battle rages behind me, I realize I'm trapped. The secrets of the Hargrove family — of Daven, Johnathan, and now Antoinette — are more horrifying than I ever could have imagined. And I've walked straight into their dark web. Daven and Johnathan clash like titans, their movements a blur of inhuman speed.

The air crackles with energy, the walls of the old manor groaning under the pressure. I can barely comprehend what's happening — one moment, Daven is the man I thought I knew, and the next, he's... a monster. My heart races as I struggle to make sense of what I've seen. Fangs, glowing eyes — this can't be real. But it is. The image of the Hargrove crest on the surveillance tape flashes in my mind. It's no coincidence. Daven's family was involved in my mother's murder. But how? I want to run, but the exit is blocked by the witch, Antoinette. She moves toward me with a predatory grace, her yellow eyes glinting in the dim light.

"Amelia, I warned Daven about getting you involved," she says, her voice a silky whisper. "But it seems you couldn't resist digging into the past.""What... what are you?" I stammer, stepping back. My mind races to connect the pieces. Daven, Johnathan, Antoinette — they're not human. Antoinette gives me a pitying smile. "I am what your friend Daven refuses to become: a predator who embraces her nature." She raises her hand, and I feel an invisible force tightening around my throat. My vision blurs as the air is squeezed from my lungs.

Just as I'm about to pass out, Daven lets out a roar. In a flash, he's by my side, slamming into Antoinette with a force that sends her crashing into the wall. I fall to the ground, gasping for breath. "Amelia, run!" Daven shouts, his eyes flickering between green and that terrifying crimson. "Get out of here, now!" But I can't move. I'm frozen, my mind paralyzed by fear and confusion. How can I leave him? What if Johnathan kills him? But then, I remember my mother. If Daven is part of whatever dark world she got caught up in, then I need answers. Mustering every ounce of strength, I turn and sprint down the darkened hallway.

I don't look back. The sounds of their battle echo behind me, a chaotic symphony of crashes, snarls, and shattering glass. I reach the front door and burst into the icy night air. But as I race toward the woods, a figure materializes in front of me, blocking my path. It's Johnathan. "Leaving so soon, Amelia?" he taunts, his eyes glowing that same horrifying red. "I can't let you go.
