*Author-chan real quick! Need some feedback. Is this too early for the tournament? just wondering if it check out or not. Hope y'all enjoy!*
"We need to watch them one last time." The coach, Irihata Nobuteru, said. Obviously they would have to, although falling behind in recent years, Karasuno was picking themselves back up, at a rapid pace as well.
"Especially the powerful quick of that first-year duo.
Many of the other team members were very much intimidated by Aoba Johsai. Mentioning their height, or how they almost always make it to prefectural finals, or how strong and tall they are. But where was their main weapon, the most destructive tool of Aoba Johsai, Oikawa Toru?
"Where's Oikawa?" Coach Irihata finally realized, after walking into the gymnasium.
"Well, um..." Yahaba, a 2nd year on the team, mumbled out.
"What is it? Fess up." The assistant coach demanded.
"Girls from other schools have him in their clutches." Yahaba replied, feeling bad for exposing his upperclassman and captain.
Both the coaches straight out deadpan him, as this was not the first time this happened. Toru giving fan service wasn't really a surprise, but his personality made it a hell much more annoying from the outside, or more so, Itsuki and Iwaizumi's perspective.
"Iwaizumi, Itsuki." The coach requested the two.
"Yes, sir." The two said in unison with annoyed looks written clearly on their faces.
"This is delicious. You really made this?" Toru asked, after eating some homemade cookies from his fangirls across the prefecture.
"Yes! I stayed up late last night to make it!" One of the girls excitedly responded.
"The amount of girls and how much they simp over him, disgusts me." Itsuki muttered with a glare, staring down at the girls while watching the scene unfold.
"That's so nice. Thanks." Toru said with his flirtatious personality sparking.
"It's nothing!" The girl who gave the said cookies started blushing, along with the other girls that gathered around him.
"Oikawa-san, can I take a picture with you?"
"A picture? Sure." Those were Toru's last words before getting slammed in the head with a volleyball.
"Nice kill, Iwaizumi." She said with a small smirk surfacing onto her face.
The fangirls stood there, jaws open and wide-eyed, and started screaming a bit.
"Ouch! Not even the coach hits me..." Toru cried out, rubbing the back of his head where the ball had smacked him, with small tears in his eyes. It was all fun and games until he turned around...
He was met with a deathly glare and some hellish aura Iwaizumi was giving off. His eyes and face were giving quite a message. Translation: "Get your ass into the gymnasium right now and stop fucking around."
The fangirls still stood there shooketh, and Iwaizumi still gave him the menacingly scary look. Itsuki stood there, also giving quite a glare, signaling something to the fangirls. 'Fuck off', is what she was implying.
"Sorry. Let's do the pictures another time." Toru ended up changing his answer, otherwise there might have been some casualties. He waved it off and headed towards the door.
"Ehhh..." All the fangirls whined out, disappointed.
"You guys make quite the duo, I was scared for my life. I think my lifespan just shortened a bit!" He joked around it, to avoid getting lectured by either one of them.
The team finally gathered, with everyone. Itsuki looked at their banner.
"Rule the court"
As if. She knew damn well they would never have a chance against Shiratorizawa, and now even Karasuno was standing as a threat. Though, they were still quite the opponent.
They passed by Karasuno's warmup. "Oh, hey, it's Turnip-Head!" Kindaichi looked around, while Kunimi started lightly laughing, attempting to stifle it.
"Turnip Head? What's that?" Kindaichi asked, completely oblivious.
"It's you. Who else?" Kunimi responded with a smirk on his face after the unexpected laughter.
"What?" Kindaichi blurted, completely shocked.
"Yoohoo! Tobio-chan, Shrimp-chan. How's the freak duo doing?" He sang out, holding a peace sign out over the railing. Until Iwaizumi slapped his shoulder, and Itsuki began lightly giggling.
"Ow! That hurt, Iwa-chan" Toru complained.
"Stop doing that pose. It pisses me off." Iwaizumi simply replied.
"Have you no mercy??" Toru whined out.
The team pointed out the new addition of Karasuno's ace, Asahi Azumane, a big guy who looked like he should not be in highschool, and definitely scary from the outside. They also had a libero, who was not there during the practice match they had. Nishinoya Yuu, a short boy, but astonishing defensive skills. Neither were there during the practice match held between the two schools.
Along with new players, there was also a new coach. Apparently, he was the grandson of the known coach Ukai, who is said to be the coach that brought Karasuno to nationals.
*Author-chan here again! ISTG, I'm trying to make these chapters longer for you guys! Sorry! Though, thank you all very much for your support, and staying for the story! It always means a lot to me. Also, I spent a lotta time on this, having to rewatch the match for this to be as accurate as possible, so please enjoy. And with that, Author-chan out!*
