Info:Lucy dates another guy after the breakup and ends up engaged to a man named David

Lucy has been engaged for 6 months now the wedding planning started and there were many difficult decisions to make

Lucy:it's something I want to talk about in person think you can come over

She waited for a bit for angela when her fiancé walked in

Lucy:im waiting for Angela to get here i need her help with a decision
D:and why can't i help
Lucy:because It's something really personal and Angela knows about it more then anyone
D:i see well im headed to work if you need anything im a call away

He left and soon after Angela arrived
Angela:so whats up
Lucy:im having alot of trouble making a decision

She left and Lucy sat there for a while before picking up her phone and dialing Tims number

Lucy:do you think we can meet up and talk

They got off the phone and Lucy texted him where to meet she was there first so she sat down at a little picnic table and waited

She gave him a quick hug then backed off and they sat down
She didn't say anything at first just started playing with her engagement ring
Tim:everything ok with you and David
Lucy:huh

Lucy:oh no we're great
Tim:ok but obviously there's something wrong something you wanna talk about but your scared

Lucy looked at him for a few minutes then started
Lucy:i was doing wedding invites and i got to yours but then all i thought about was how hurt i was when my Ex sent me an invite to his wedding and i couldn't do it to you your my best friend and i want you there but i also understand if you weren't
Tim just looked at her for a moment
Tim:first off i appreciate that i do second i wouldn't miss it you deserve everything good
You deserve to be happy and move on and for that i will never stand in the way
Lucy:but i know you your gonna say your ok then your gonna go home and suffer in silence you'll keep it to yourself and its gonna hurt you
Tim:Lucy what we had the love we had it would hurt anyone but at the end of the day we both are free to grow and be happy and im not gonna let you stop yourself this is about you i promise you i will be ok

They both just sat there with eachother for a while
Lucy:i have to get home David will be home soon and i need to get some stuff done for us to discuss for the wedding

She goes to walk off

She walked off and he stayed there for a bit he was happy for her he really was but that didn't mean he doesn't still love her
He eventually went home and went to bed
At work the next day

Tim:i told her that im not gonna miss it for the world and im happy as long as she is

Tim:don't sound so surprised i have had 6 months to come to terms with it

A few months later
As the wedding was getting closer Lucy found it harder and harder not to think of Tim

As soon as he left Lucy had made her decision the first thing she did was run to Tim at the station
Tim:hey your supposed to be off today
Lucy:i can't do it

Lucy took a few breaths and calmed her self like he asked

Lucy:i can't stay there with him after but i have nowhere to go

He grabbed both sides of her head and kissed her head
Lucy just stayed in his embrace as long as he let her

Lucy:thank you i gotta go home and pack before he gets there and convinces me to stay

She left and drove back to the house and grabbed her bags and packed everything that belongs to her and she put it in her car just as she finished David got home he walked past the car and saw it packed up

Lucy:im sorry i tried to be happy i tried to love you but i can't not when my heart belongs to someone else thats not fair to you but im trying to do the right thing im so sorry you are amazing and you are kind and sweet but your not the right person for me
D:as much as this hurts cause i truly love you i appreciate your honesty and im sorry i couldn't make you happy but you Lucy Chen made me happy and i will never forget that its ok im not mad at you i truly want what makes you happy and whats best for you

D:Lucy you have been honest from day one that he still lives in your heart and i have seen you struggling about him in your heart since we got engaged your meant to be with him and i couldn't be happier that you are finally gonna be happy
