Today was Piper's Graduation Day. I made her invite me along with Nash and the Jacks. So here we are, seating in a covered court, waiting for the program to start. Today is also the day that I'm meeting the parents. Not just any parents, but The Parents.

Stop acting like it's a big deal, Piper is a friend.

We were all wearing dress shirts, but my sleeves were rolled up. Johnson was wearing a light blue one, Gilinsky was wearing a black one, and Nash was wearing a dark blue one. Me? I was just wearing plain white.

Basically, we're kids pretending to be adults.

The familiar graduation march played and the graduates started walking in black and red togas.

"All graduates, please sit down as we commence our graduation proper." The principal said.

As they all sat down, I looked for Piper.

Jenkins. Jenkins. Jenkins.

I saw her smile standing out of the crowd. She was smiling at the girl beside her and then she looked back, searching the crowd.

Our eyes met and she smiled wider. I winked at her and chuckled, then she shook her head and turned back to the stage.

Then after a speech or two, they were already calling the graduates. There were four hundred of them and Piper was in the middle of them all.

They were also saying the student's achievements, no matter how small or big, after their names.

"Piper Jenkins, class president, and this year's class valedictorian."

At first, my mind hasn't registered the fact that she was a hot nerd. After a split second, me and the guys cheered for Piper.

Then it was time for Piper to deliver her speech as the valedictorian should.

I took my phone to record a Vine.

I think I'll put My girl graduating as a title.

"Good afternoon administrators, teachers, parents, and fellow graduates." She smiled at the crowd.

"Today is a remarkable day for all of us. For the administrators and teachers, today is remarkable for you because you're setting us free. And you're probably happy because you have one less problem to worry about," She earned a laugh from the crowd, "For the parents, it's a day that you'll always brag about in the near future during Christmas parties and family gatherings, knowing that your daughter or son graduated and will be attending college." She then looked at the right side of the court and smiled.

"And most of all, for us students, this day marks as a new chapter of our lives. We are given the chance to begin anew. But of course let us not forget to thank the previous people mentioned. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of them. To our administrators, who molded us into intelligence and helped us become who we are today; who helped us make our decisions of which path we should choose," She cleared her throat a little bit then continued, "And to our parents, who has been always there for us; who continues to hold the steering wheel of our lives even though they know that we are capable of driving on our own; they still hold on and never hesitate to turn the steering wheel to the path where there is no problem, or step on the break when we are about to approach a hump."

"Let's not all forget our experiences in this school; all the friends we've made, the sleepless nights we've had just to finish home work. But let's not forget also to make new memories. To always be ready to climb the ladder of life and never give up climbing. To always hold on to something else when the rope we're holding on to breaks," Then she looked at me, "And to find people who will push us and motivate us to do better, or just someone to hold our hand and smile at us when we need them most."

Johnson nudged me and I just slapped his elbow.

"So once again, congratulations graduates of 2015!" She smiled once more and then went off the stage, everyone clapping and howling---that's me, actually---for her.

I saw Piper hugging her parents tightly, her mom---who looked exactly like her, except for the brown eyes---looked like she was crying. Her dad was patting his wife's back, beaming proudly at his daughter. He had copper hair with a bit of gray here and there which was cropped short, and he had the blue eyes Piper inherited.

They were dressed in sophistication, almost like they were loaded. Her mom bathed in gold, and his dad had on a crisp suit which looked like it were made by gods.

Piper turned to look at us and smiled.

"Mom, Dad, these are my new friends." She put her hand on my back.

No big deal, Cam.

"That's Jack Johnson, Jack Gilinsky, Nash Grier, and finally, Cameron Dallas."

We each took turns shaking their hands.

"Please call me Eden, and call my husband John." Her mom smiled warmly at us.

"Oh! Let me take a picture of you and your friends!" His dad turned on his camera and we all positioned for a photo, my hand on Piper's waist.

"P!" We heard Hannah call behind us.

They hugged each other and Hannah smirked at me, "Hey, Dallas."

"Hey, Hannah."

"I see you brought your minions," they pulled apart, "Hello, Nash, Johnson."

"Gilinsky." She said, smiling.

"What is up with those two?" Piper stood beside me, eyeing Hannah and Gilinsky's exhange.

Nash and Johnson was looking at Johnson's phone, laughing about God knows what.

"Wanna play Cupid?" I pulled her to my side, hugging her tightly.

"Or let's not mess what the real Cupid has destined for them." She looked up at me and smiled.

"Guess we'll find out in a year or two, huh?"

"Hmm."

"Wait, I didn't remember you telling me that you were a hot nerd." I smirked down at her.

"What? I'm not a hot nerd!" She blushed.

"Yes, you are. You're hot and the student body's president, plus the class valedictorian." I stated as a matter of fact.

She just rolled her eyes and leaned her head on my shoulder, "I can't wait for our adventure."

     ☁

Hey babes!

So this chapter was a bit boring, I know. But that's because my mind is completely blank, thanks to school.

But don't worry! They'll begin their adventure in a chapter or two. ;)

So, yep. That's it!

You know the drill.
