Winters coming

What did we do

My eyes open and I feel pounding on my head. I go do move and I'm stuck, I look over and see Bucky waking up. All I remember was getting arrested and...shit. Bucky wakes ups and immediately looks at me.

We look in front of us as Steve and..I think he told me his name Sam..

"What did we do" Bucky asks and I could hear the Dread in his voice

"Enough" Steve says and i sigh softly..

"Is it really y'all" Steve asks and crosses his arms. I sit up straight and look at him.

"Yes" I say softly and lock eyes with him

"Prove it" he says and I look over at Bucky

"Your moms name was Sarah" he states plainly and Steve looks over at me

"I remember when you pushed me into the dance floor that one day to dance with Bucky" i say and smile creeps onto my face.

"Alright then, it's them" Steve says and looks over at Sam

"And we just trust it..she threw me to the floor,knocked me out and fractured my nose" Sam says and points me

"Like I wanted to" I say in defense

Steve walks over and lets me and Bucky free. We stand up and I look over at Bucky. Steve and Sam step back and walk off

"We will be back just don't go anywhere unless you want to be arrested" Steve says and we nod..

Bucky walks over to me and grabs my face in his hands and looks me over. I had a gash on my cheek, he tilts my head to the side and I look into his eyes

"I'm on buck" i say softly and he shakes his head

"When will we get a break" he mutters softly and looks at me in the eyes

"We will get a happy ending" i say softly and he smiles..

"We need to get you fixed up" he says and we lock eyes again..my eyes sparkle and for a moment the world goes quiet. I feel butterflies in my stomach and I look away...absolutely not I will not catch feelings for him..

Bucky steps back slowly when Steve and Sam walk in. I cross my arms and look at them..

"I knew this would happen" I say sighing as I rub my face

"All he had to do were say this fucking words" Bucky says and shakes his head

"Who was he" Steve asks

"I don't know" me and Bucky say in unison

"People are dead! The bombing, the setup and the doctor he did all of that just to get ten minutes with you! I need to know why" Steve says

"He wanted to know about Siberia" I say and look over at Bucky

"Where I was kept..he wanted to know where" Bucky says

"Why would he need to know that" Steve asks and we go quiet...

"Because I'm not the only winter soldier" Bucky says and Steve looks down

"Blade survived the tests and brainwash like I did...me and her could be controlled" Bucky says and looks over at me

"And the rest" Steve asks and steps forward

"They were worse, but he could control them..enough" I says and look at him

"He wanted to watch an empire fall he said" Steve says and shakes his head

"With these guys, he could" Bucky says and rubs his face

"We speak thirty languages, can hide in plain sight! Infiltrate, assassinate and destabilize! We could take a country in one night and you'd never see it coming..the only difference between us and them" Bucky says..

"We still had a piece of us left..them in the other hand,they didn't they were gone fully! More brutal and violent..there was no coming out of the brainwash like us" I say and look over at Steve

"This would've been a lot easier a week ago" Sam says quietly

"If we call tony" Steve suggests quietly

"He won't believe us" Sam whisper

"We are on our own" Steve says in defeat

"For now, I know a guy" Sam says and walks off..

I watch and tilt my head in confusion..I look over at Bucky.

"What's going on I'm confused" I say softly to him. He pulls me to the side..

"It's fine we just need to work with them" Bucky whispers

"Can we even trust them" i say shaking my head

"It's Steve.." Bucky says..and yes we've known Steve since the forties but..we don't know him anymore

"He's an avenger" I say coldly

"And he fought for us and now he is also wanted doll" Bucky whispers and takes my hand

"I don't know about this" I say and shake my head!

"Just trust me, we have each other and that's all that matters" Bucky says, i sigh and nod..I trusted Bucky and he trusted me and that's all that mattered.

"Alright" I say softly in defeat.. Bucky takes my hand and follows Steve and Sam to a car outside. I don't even ask questions of how it got there but it did.

I get in the back with Bucky and look at him..he places his hand in mine and butterflies come back immediately.

"It's ok" Bucky mouths and I look at Steve and Sam who are talking. I nod to him and squeeze his hand.

"We are gonna gather some people to help us" Steve says and starts the car as Sam starts to make phone calls.

This could end in so many ways but not one of them is good right now...
