17. HIS PAST

I felt bad as he is being cold towards me. I didn't miss the way he behaved when Vihaan asked me to call him brother. I punched him later when we came out.

Still his ignorance is making me feel immensely bad.

It's almost 12:30 AM and I'm not able to wink a sleep. Why does he have to ignore me ?

I was trying to sleep but couldn't so I took my phone and started typing what was bothering me, the thing that I thought of asking him in WhatsApp opening his contact. I do this whenever I couldn't communicate with the person, but I never send the texts I type because I just have to vent it out that's all.

What happened to you?
Why are you ignoring me ?
Do you also think I'm ugly as everyone says? Do you even have slightest idea how butterflies erupted in my tummy that day ? After making me feel all these you are ghosting me now ?
I sometimes really feel like I should stop thinking about you! But how can I when ... I.. 

I sigh and was about to type more when Shreya suddenly sat up yawning making me scared like anything that my phone fell from my hand.

Idiot

I took my phone and saw that the text was already sent. I panicked looking at it but then thought of deleting it immediately when it went blue tick.

My hands are shivering and I gulp when I saw that he was typing something

What will he think of me ?

Suddenly a message popped up.

I gripped my phone tightly and looked at it

" Can I call you? " He sent me and I sent him an okay

Immediately my phone started vibrating and I quickly moved into washroom afraid that Shreya will wake up.

I attend his call and stay quiet

" So .....you was disturbed by my ignorance?" He whispered and I nod

" We aren't in video call so speak up?" My eyes widened and I smile

" Yeah-h " I stutter

" Btw who the heck told you that you are ugly?" He sounded furious as if ready to kill that person. Tears gushed in my eyes

" Everyone.... " I trail off

" Everyone? But I never said that! You do on thing ...just come down now !" He says and I quickly speak

" I can't, I mean it's going to be 1 am and all are sleeping!" I whisper

" Will you come down or should I come there?" He asks his voice sounded as if he was crying and I say that I will come before hanging up the call..

What have I done now??!!

I walked slowly without making any noise and I once reached out I sigh in relief.

Dhruv was already standing infront of me with his hands on his pocket.

" Shall we go on a drive ? " He asked

" But .. -" he cuts me off

" Wait I'll get my bike " he says and goes .. within minutes I was with him on his bike don't exactly know where he is taking me.
