Leo sat down on the chair, a welcome sigh escaping his lips. The chairs in the school building were far from comfortable, but they allowed him to rest his weary legs. Around him, the other members of Team A were also taking up positions in the classroom. Olga Marie and Kirshtaria had stayed outside, to set up a bounded field that would deter any skeletons from approaching. After Olga Marie's Saber had been summoned, the enemy Assassin fled, allowing them an opportunity to retreat to the school. Leo took this chance to look over all the members of Team A. Although he knew them well from the game, seeing them in real life was another thing entirely.
First was Kadoc Zempulus. A boy with silver hair and a slim frame, the young mage was nursing an injury to his arm. The Polish mage was busy attempting to wrap some gauze he had found in the infirmary around it, trying his best to ignore Beryl Gut who was standing by making snide remarks. Another personal favourite of Leo's from among the Crypters.
Watching and providing Kadoc gentle tips, was a man with eccentric purple hair. Scandinavia Peperoncino was a mage of Japanese descent, although his clothing and general appearance could not be further from his origin. He was laughing, making general conversation with the other members of Team A. Even Leo found himself smiling while watching him. He was a mage who knew how to move others.
Keeping to herself, on the edge of the classroom was a young woman with her hair in brown twin-tails. She wore a white coat that covered her entire body, and a pair of glasses sat on her face. Akuta Hinako resolutely ignored everyone else and sat in her corner, book open. A bit of blood tainted the side of her coat where Assassin had struck before Leo's arrival, but she didn't appear concerned. Indeed she had no reason to be. Unlike the rest of them, Akuta's true nature was not human, but that of a True Ancestor, Fate's unique Vampires. Since she seemed quite content for the moment, Leo decided it would be best not to antagonize her.
Leo glanced at the fourth Crypter in the room and almost jumped out of his seat. A young man with blond hair, wearing a black overcoat and boots sat ignoring the chaos happening nearby and watching Leo intently. Daybit Sem Void gazed quietly and intently at Leo, such that he began to feel a sense of apprehension. Daybit was a different kind of genius compared to Kirshtaria, but a man not to be trifled with in the slightest. His story was long and complicated, and while Leo did not dislike him as he did Beryl, out of all the Crypters, Daybit was the one he was most worried about. If that man decided to betray them for his own goals...it would be difficult to stop him.
Leo pulled his gaze away from the man, glancing, trying to find the final Crypter in the room. As he did so, a voice sounded beside him.
"Hello, Mr Leo."
The speaker was a woman with auburn hair running over her shoulders. She wore a sharp black blazer, and a distinctive eyepatch covered her right eye. She smiled up at Leo and extended her hand.
"Ophelia. Ophelia Phamrsolone" Ophelia kept her hand extended, watching Leo's reaction. After a moment's hesitation, Leo took the hand and returned the smile.
"Leo Valualeta, although you seem to already know my name?"
"Yes, Mash told me. From what I understand you found this place for us."
"It was nothing really."
"Nonetheless, I wished to express my gratitude. Thank you" Ophelia nodded slightly then, turned around and headed back out of the classroom. Leo watched as she left. Ophelia Phamrsolone was a character that could be described as shy. She displayed the demeanour of someone who was all business, like a secretary, but in truth, she was a lot kinder beneath than she appeared. In truth, Leo hadn't expected her to greet him first. It was a welcome surprise.
As Leo watched Ophelia leave, he saw her turn as Kirshtaria and Olga Marie walked back into the classroom. Behind them trailed Olga's servant, the red-haired Saber. The young man instantly drew the attention of the people in the room. Of course, the only servant these mages had ever was a Caster who didn't act his position. This mystery Saber would be an unavoidable interest.
