Fuyuki was a setting in which many stories had been told. The original work that began the whole FATE series, and led to the creation of Fate/Grand Order was set here, in Fuyuki City, although the outcome and nature of that conflict was vastly different from the one that had taken place here. In this Fuyuki, The King of Knights, Arthur Pendragon, had been corrupted and had turned her blade upon the remaining servants. Against her, with the might of the grail behind her, no servant could stand. One by one they fell, each corrupted in turn and transformed into her loyal servants. Only Caster, Cu Chulainn, escaped this fate and hid in the city awaiting a chance to strike back.

But there was one other exception to this rule amongst Fuyuki's servants. A servant even the great King Arthur struggled against. A servant who, once corrupted, did not meekly serve the King, but became a mad force of destruction, lashing out at anything that came close. A beast of instinct, that retained only his incredible sense of fighting skill. The Berserker Class Servant, Heracles.

The hulking form of Heracles rose from the dust and let out a massive roar. His body was massive, with rippling muscles bulging beneath a coat of sticky corruption. His features had long since been degraded, leaving only his long wild hair and a pair of blazing red eyes that raged against the world. His foot rose and stomped down on a vague green shape that had landed in the dirt in front of him, pulverizing it and causing the cavern to shake with the impact. Everyone in the chamber was stunned into silence at his sudden arrival, everyone except Leo.

"Oberon, NOW!"

"On it Master!" The Faerie King vanished from Leo's side, appearing next to the floating Olga Marie. Lev Lainur spun, his surprise fading to indignation.

"Oh no you don-" As Lev went to stop Oberon, he paused for just a second. A sense of overwhelming danger overcame him, a primal survival instinct that warned that death was coming on blood-soaked wings. He spun, conjuring up a barrier around him, just in time to intercept Heracles massive sword as it came down on him. The weapon clashed against the roiling magic energy, causing shockwaves to echo throughout the cavern. Heracles let out another mad roar, and lifted his weapon again and again, constantly bringing it down on Lev.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Oberon snapped his fingers, causing a collection of butterflies to emerge and engulf himself and Olga Marie. As Leo watched, Oberon appeared beside him, butterflies quickly dispersing. Accompanying him was Marie, who was watching the unfolding situation in shock.

"What is going on? Is that... "

"That thing... used to be Heracles, the strongest Greek hero," Caenis said as the group gathered around them. He looked up at the ensuing battle, his face dark.

"That is Heracles?" Kirshtaria looked up at the monster, surprised. "I didn't expect him to be so...well, wild."

"That isn't Heracles, it's just some twisted shadow that has his strength." Caenis spat. "Trust me, if you met the real Hero, the difference is night and day. That corrupted thing only shares his appearances."

As Caenis spoke, the ground suddenly rumbled. The grail above was beginning to shine with light. Lev Lainur blasted Heracles away and made some distance, glancing up at the grail as he did so.

"Dammit all, if only that damned King had done her job properly." Lev snarled.

He unleashed several more blasts of energy towards the rampaging Heracles but then jumped back dodging the wild strikes again. His attacks barely slowed the mad creature down, let alone injured it. No matter what he did, he couldn't lose it.

"Director, you need to get out of there!" Dr Romani's voice emerged from Marie's wrist, as the group looked up towards the grail. Marie brought the communicator up to her face.
