The gates open , revealing the huge mansion . It looks like it was built a long time ago.it is no less than an old royal palace . The garden with a fountain breaking the way into two . There were two houses facing each other parted by the garden right through the fountain. Flowers planted around the fountain. This is not a place a person can describe or mesmerize in a day or more
Andrew approached her with a warm smile as a welcome. He guide her to a house “ This will be the place you live … make yourself at home” saying this he forwarded a key .
“ Wait, what? , this house is mine to live. All mine, alone. It looks like a mini villa itself. The key has a peacock carved on it , matching the door . No this can't be true luna, wake up this is just a nightmare, just a nightmare” She said to herself . Tried to close and open her eyes. “It not a dream” She murmured
Andrew was holding the key forward waiting patiently for her to take it. Luna took the key into her palm. Luna turned towards the door. She took a deep breath before placing the key into the lock. As soon as she placed the key, dust flew into the air. Luna sneezes trice in a row. She took a step back before opening the door. With cracking sounds the door slowly opens to an empty house filled with dust and spiders. Luna turned the light on with a few tries on the switchboard. A dim light turns on and off. Luna placed her luggage in a corner and walked out. She was holding her breath all this time. She started to sneeze again.
“ Are you alright? , is there any problem?” Andrew asked in a concern tone.
Luna smiles softly “ Yes , I'm fine, it is just... the dust allergy”
“ Dust allergy, interesting, isn't it” Alex murmured, who was standing at a distance and listening to them.No one heard what he murmured.
He walked towards the car ignoring her. Andrew and Luna walked behind him. Alex sat in the back seat. And Andrew in the passenger seat. Luna stood there silently at the car.
Alex looked at her for some time “ We are not going to send an invitation card” he said with a sarcastic tone.
Luna quickly sat beside him and closed the door. Her eyes we're dancing between the window and Alex . As it was her first time sitting so close to a man . Her heart was beating out of her chest. The silence spread in the car . She can clearly hear her own heartbeat. Nervousness increases as the thought of Alex hearing her heart beating fast, scares her in some corner.
The car stopped , Alex got off the car, entering the building like Luna and Andrew didn't exist. They both follow him.
Looking at Luna's Nervous face , Andrew sighed to her to relax and not to worry with his eye's.
“Alex” Andrew called, just as Alex was about to enter his cabin.
Alex froze in his place waiting for Andrew to continue
“ Miss Luna, will stay in my cabin..”
Alex glared at him from the side of his eyes.
Andrew continued “ Her desk isn't ready yet, so she can stay in my cabin..”
Alex interrupts “ She is my PA” with a dominating voice.
Andrew further didn't say anything. Luna was looking at both of them, but differently at Alex as he spoke like she belongs to him. Luna was irritated , yet she didn't not express . She entered the cabin along with Alex.
After sometime Andrew came to the cabin handing Luna a file and left. Luna was confused as he didn't even mention what it was about. Luna opened the file and there was a note. ‘ don't worry, this is Alex's schedule, you need to inform and work on’ . She read the file. And hid the note away.
“ There's a meeting at 10’ o'clock , sir ” Luna said, standing near Alex's table.
Alex didn't respond. Luna repeats it .
“ I'm not deaf” Alex said, with a harsh voice. Luna startled yet didn't move from her place. She stood there like a status
“ Clean the files off that desk” Alex orders, before leaving to the meeting.
As Alex left the cabin , Luna was staring at the dusty files for some time. “ You want me to clean these files, I'm not your servant who obeys you, this man has some attitude to handle” Luna murmured, rolling her eyes.
After the meeting Alex returns to his cabin. the files are organized on his desk. But Luna was nowhere to be found. Alex sat in his chair looking at the ceiling . The time has passed yet the Luna hasn't returned
“ Where the hell is she?” He muttered , in irritation running his fingers through his hair.
There was a knock .
“ Come in” Alex said coldly thinking it was her
A poun entered the cabin and stood in front of Alex with his head down.
“ Sir andrew sent me to clean the desk, sir “ The poun said
Alex didn't not resond. He was just watching the poun. Alex got a text for Andrew ‘ Luna took leave, she is sick’ . After some time Alex ordered the poun to throw those file away.
After some time Luna enters the cabin. Alex was staring at her with the mixture of anger and irritation. Alex was about to say something but a text pops up. He looked at his phone and left the cabin without a word. Luna stood there looking at Alex as he leaves. Her eyes shift to the desk, which was cleaned neatly, revealing it's beauty. Luna eyes widen as she realized that the desk is made out of Redsandals . The ends of the desk was carved in the shape of peacock .
“ This was indeed an antique piece. The piece of art that i never witnessed. But why the peacocks ?” Luna asked herself.
It didn't take much time for Alex to return, Andrew was also with him. Luna was standing at distance mesmerized by it's beauty. She came back to her sences as they entered the cabin.
Alex throw the coat on his chair. Loosing the tie, folding the sleeves up. Irritation was visible in his face .He leaned the desk looking at Andrew. The way he leaned against the dest exposed his muscles through his white shirt.
Alex eyes shifted towards Luna who is standing right beside Andrew. Luna quickly lowered her head In embarrassment that Alex caught her staring at his body. Though it not her fault in total. Alex is looking so attractive that no one can possible take their eyes off him.
Alex was shocked for a second looking at her. He totally forgot her existance. Then a small smirk formed on his lips . He pushed himself off the desk walking towards her
