5. The blue eyes

                       

“ This kiddo, what should I do with her?. Girls are innocent and sensitive.but she, who is standing in front of me, there is something odd, something that doesn't suit the face of a kid she wears. And her, her blue eyes make it hard for me to hate them. But she left me no choice. I will never forgive anyone that getting in my way , not even my own family ” Alex said to himself, walking towards her.

Alex stood inches away from Luna. She can feel her heart beating out of her chest. Alex extended his hand above her head towards the edge of the doorframe and pulled something.

It was a spy cam. Alex's eyes were red , Andrew took the spy cam and left the cabin understanding the unspoken words.

“ Nothing can be hid from this devils eyes, same as always” Andrew said to himself as he leaves

Alex and Luna were left alone in the cabin. The closeness between them increases the nervousness in Luna. She folded her palm towards tightly . Seeing this Alex took a few steps back and cleared his throat.

“ Your name?” Alex asked.

“huh!” A sound slipped her mouth in shock.

She said to herself “ This man, doesn't even know my name, great”

Alex repeats the question. “ Luna” She said softly.

“ So, tell me Luna, where have been all this time”

Luna raised her head to look at him “ Hospital… . I was sick”

Alex took a step forward saying “ Did you forgot the terms in the contract”

“ I.. Didn't  , but you were in meeting so I have informed Andrew, sir”

Alex says with a cold tone “ Look, you are not leaving without my permission anywhere, remember , you will face consequences if you do break the terms”

Luna stood there silent looking at him.

After some time, Alex's phone rings. Andrew the screen displays. He answers the call

“ You need to check this” Andrew said

“ I will be there” Alex left the cabin saying this.

Luna was staring at him as he left . Mostly annoyed by his attitude.

Andrew's cabin

“What is it” Alex asked, as he stepped into the cabin.

Andrew silently passed him a laptop. Alex's eyes harden as he sees it. “ So  , this…” Alex says, but Andrew cuts

“ Yes, it is but…  something is not right”  he paused , and looked into Alex's eyes “ we need to find out who she really is?. Normally… no one would dare to walk near a gun but Luna. We shouldn't trust her so easily” Andrew said.

Alex laughs darkly, “ Trust… . She is nowhere near that. And will  never be. You are too easy to be fooled by looks Andrew” 

His dark laughter sent shivers down andrews spine. He was just waiting for Alex to continue

“ She is lucky that she is still alive.” He chuckles darkly. Then he fell into thoughts “ Yes , she is lucky that she is alive but how? Those blue eyes.. Ahhh.. Those blue eyes I can't, I can't dare to harm them. I can't pull myself to kill her. I just want to pluck them off her. She doesn't deserve those eyes ,no one deserves those eyes.the only one who should have them is…” He shook his head , not to think further. His eyes were red  not only because of anger but something else too. Past.. Pain.. Something that bothers him.

Alex places the laptop away, saying “ And..?”

Andrew got off his seat and left the cabin. He dragged a man by his collar and pushed him to his knees in front of Alex. Alex looked at the man, smiling devilishly “ And our guest is supposed to be?” He asked, leaning back the chair crossing his arms.

“ one of the Jade's spy, the man who dared to place a spy cam in your cabin”  Andrew says sharply

Alex quickly leaned forward and grabbed the man's chin tightly forcing him to meet his eyes. “ Look at you , taking your last breaths . Aren't you tried of breathing all your life. Let me…” He punched the man “ Help you out of this misery” Saying this he landed few more punchs , hard enough to almost displace his jars

He pushed him away and looked at his knuckles dripped in blood. Andrew gave him a tissue.

Alex said while cleaning the blood away “ Take him far away before I change my mind to display his bones off their place.”

Alex threw the tissue on the man's face and started to walk out the cabin While thinking “ My, my, aren't you brave. Just looking at a gun without sweating doesn't make you … . Any special Luna there are hundreds of people like you out there. But you are the only special one who chooses to enter the lion's den… all by yourself. I can give you that much. The war just began now, not with you but be ready to face the consciousness of your actions, my. brave. little. Luna.”

Alex's cabin

Luna was seated on the couch being lost in her thoughts “ Can that desk be for me..?  , no way Luna, it is too expensive , forget about that  , does that bastard  look like he is good enough to give you a desk in the first place. Yeah that is true. He is just.. fucking irritative… that he never failed to get on my nerves” Like this she is fighting with her own thoughts.

Meanwhile Alex was looking at her leaning against the door frame. She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice him.  Alex cleared his throat as he walked towards his desk. Luna was startled , she standing up looking at him

“ Do you like the couch so much?” Alex asked

“ No, sir, why did you ask?” Luna answered, controlling her anger to pierce  a knife  into his attitude throat

“ You seems to like the couch so much, that you refuse to use the desk ” Alex said, looking at the desk

“ But the desk is made out of Red Sandals, I can't use it “ Luna said, making him stare at her.

Alex turned his gaze towards the desk again thinking “ This desk , the Redsandals , the peacocks, the blue eyes… . The blues… , stop just stop it, stop reminding me that I'm still  alive, stop it, stop reminding me of that person, stop reminding of her.. Please stop it Alex stop thinking” He screamed In his mind.

He clenched his fist tight and walked to the door with heavy steps. He pauses to look back at her with red eyes  “ I'm not asking you. I'm . Ordering.You. To. Use. That. Desk” He said harshly , then leaves the cabin.
