"Main nahi chahta woh mere bulaane se aaye,
Main chahta hoon woh reh naa paye aur bahane se aaye..."When everyone was busy having their dinner Ryker's attention was on Abhinendra who was also busy, not having dinner but giving angry glances to Inaayat. Ryker could see how much scared she was looking and trembling like a leaf standing in that particular corner of the dining hall. He could feel the heat radiating from Abhinendra due to his seething rage.
He slowly trailed his carribean blue piercing gaze at Inaayat who didn't dare to look up at the food like she was used to. She always looks at food like a child wanting to have it as soon as possible but she had to wait for the people of haveli to get done with it. The sadness in her eyes was never hidden from him but today she was just numbly standing there.
Abhinendra's jaw was clenching again and again irking Ryker more than it should. He didn't know why he was getting that offended feeling by his actions. He tried to concentrate on his food but it seemed the most uninteresting thing to him that time. He was feeling that something was not right around him or if something bad was about to happen.
His intuitions were telling him to look carefully and he did but nothing found suspicious except Abhinendra's rage filled gaze at Inaayat, as if he will get the chance then he will rip her apart. Everyone was done with their dinner so did he. One by one the members of the family started to go back to their respective rooms and he also climbed the stairs.
Giving him a brotherly smile Arjun also entered inside his room but instead of entering inside his own room he walked at the the railing of the hallway and looked down straight at the dining table. Inaayat was standing there trying to do her usual work but Abhinendra was way too close to her, in her personal space. He saw him saying something's in her ear which made her tremble more in fear.
After that he saw Abhinendra striding towards the other side of the haveli instead of leaving for his home. Inaayat had scared expressions at her face which wasn't hidden by him. He saw she was doing her usual work as always and Abhinendra was not around her anymore so he also decided to head back to his room.
He entered inside and locked the door, sitting on the couch he turned his laptop on. He started checking the files which his secretary sent to his through mail and started digital signing them after checking properly but that day his mind was not at peace. His subconscious mind was telling him again and again that something was wrong.
He didn't realise when his fingers stopped working and his eyes moved away from them screen. He was blankly staring at the wall in front of him. It was like wheels were moving inside his brain at a very fast speed. He was thinking hard about Abhinendra being present in the haveli for some unknown reason and Inaayat was also scared for some unknown reason.
"Fuck!" he cursed out loudly realizing he was thinking about her again.
He stood up from the couch and taking the curtains away from the balcony door he walked out inhaling the fresh air. He took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up placing it between his lips. Inhaling some smoke, he exhaled it but his mind again wandered to a certain pair of honey brown eyes. Tears filled in them and pain veiled but not from him.
He could clearly see the rim of those eyes red and they were telling him thousands of painful stories. A lone tear streaked down of those eyes which made his hand to move to it with the intention of wiping that tears off but suddenly his hand stopped and his eyes snapped open. He threw the cigarette away from him on the floor and crushed it under his foot.
"Fuck!" he again cursed out realizing his mind wandered to her again unknowingly as if she was in some trouble and calling for help.
He growled out in frustration and raked his fingers through his hair messing them more. He wasn't able to concentrate on anything or anyone except the owner of that honey brown eyes.
