Looking forward I see my brother who was in the passenger seat.

The car started to slow down pulling me out my thoughts.
"Sorry y'all we gotta stop for gas" Layton said
Everybody just nodded they heads as they started to get out of the car.
"What y'all getting out for" Layton said looking back at Saint in Kasani.
"We finna get some snacks" they responded
"Oh okay" the brown skin women replied walking off
"Y'all staying in the car," Kasani said, looking at me and my brother.
"Yeah" Corbin said, nodding.
"Okay bet" Kasani said closing the car door
Me and my brother sit in silence before we both broke it
"You okay" we both said at the same time
"I'm good you"I said looking at the passenger seat.
"I'm fine" he said making the car fall back to silence.
That was all I needed to hear to know that he was shocked in confused.
Me and my brother had always been quiet.
Especially around our mother she made us this way.
