"Cariño, it's about time when you make your entry ." I snapped my head at him , unsure of how he knows about me coming to Defora for the prince .

" Stay Safe . " With that said , he left almost in a blink , I wanted to follow him and ask how he knew that I was about to come to the kingdom for the prince but my thoughts were interjected when a young lady gently tapped on my shoulder and that's when I noticed that I was standing infront of the Maverick Kingdom . The one , Camille told me stories about , my childhood dream place . The young lady whom I assumed to be the servant greeted me . " Welcome , your highness " she bowed her head infront of me . " Thank you for visiting the Maverick Kingdom , i wish you have a great visit and the prince chooses you " . Wait chooses me ? But Camille told me that I had already been chosen by the prince's anciel astrologer . "You will have to perform a few activities correctly so as to be chosen by the prince , from all over the county many ladies are called and on special days they will have to perform an activity and if they perform the activity correctly they will be chosen by the prince , the most number of activities done correctly will result in you becoming our next queen ." She finished and that's when I realised I'm not here to just marry I'm here to compete . The servant lead me through the castle doors and my jaw hit the ground , the wall were finely painted , the arts were correctly chosen , it was straight out of a child's fairytale . When I reached my room which was down past the other ladies room , I was giddy to felt the same comfort of Camille and I instantly sat on the bed and the same fluffy mattress made me want to sleep for a while but I needed to be wide awake because I didn't know that when will the activities be performed .

" Your highness , first and the most important activity which will be performed will be The Great Clock Activity , it is an ancient telling that if you stand infront of this clock and the time stops for about 10 seconds then you have met the love of your life but if it doesn't stop and keeps moving then you have not met the love of your life and then you will qualify the first round . The kind lady gently pulled the cloth off The Great Clock and when my eyes land on it , the clock stops , not for 10 seconds , 20 seconds but it was stopped the whole time it didn't move . The clock looked ancient but was beautiful . I looked at the lady and she offered me a smile and asked " So did it stop or not ? " I don't know what came over me but I heard the strangers voice in my head "Stay Safe" and his name clicked in my brain Mr.Clock , I snapped my head at the clock and I felt a tug at my waist and I looked up behind me , Mr. Clock with his one hand in my waist nd said " Choose your words wisely " i said "No it didn't stop . " For marrying Leo and making Camille happy is what I'm here for and for that I don't care whatever comes in the way I will tackle it . I looked at the lady and saw her expression neutral like she hadn't seen what was happening .I rushed off the stairs and hurried off to my room I had to find Mr. Clock because I wanted to know why did he say to stay safe and how did he know I was here to marry the prince .
