She stepped out of the bathroom , remaining her composure , she entered the ball room and went back to mission of impressing Leo . She stepped towards Leo and bowed her head , Leo eyes shot up to hers and he looked at her amused . She looked up on him but his eyes were somewhat different now . He looked more deadly , more bad , not the one she had met in the Archery grounds." Your highness , this side Vivien- " i was about to complete my sentence when he pulled my wrist and interrupted , " of course I know you Vivienne , will you like to share a dance with me ? " He asked me . And just then I heard the host announce , " Our Highness has chosen the lady to dance with him and she is none other than the beautiful lady of ours , Vivienne Levington . " The crowd abrupted in applause and I heard some ladies whispering ,"she was just chosen because the king pitted her ." But I didn't care one bit about it . The slow song began and we started slowly swaying our body to the music . Leo whispered in my ear , " You know since you have arrived my eyes have only been on you . " His words had a deep impact on me which was exposed by my cheeks . " You are adorable you know . " " If a prince compliments me like this then surely I'll believe it . " He was about to say something when the lights went off and the music stopped , the crowd even into silence and then the lights immediately came back and suddenly everyone gasped because of Alice's body beig laid in between the ball room , just beside me and every one gasped , her sight was now even more unbearable . I looked around the room to find Winston standing in one corner looking non chalant and eating cherries . Suddenly Leo leaped forward towards Alice's lifeless body and started shaking her body vigorously. " Alice , Alice , what happened , open your eyes , Alice . " His voice became cracked more and more by the time .
I looked at Winston because he said he will take care of the body . I walked towards Leo in order to calm him down , he held my hand like I was his last hope . I hugged him , he hugged me back tightly and i quickly threw a look at Winston to disperse the crowd . He gave a look to the host and he started leading everyone out of the hall . The crowd quickly was out of view and i quickly cupped Leo's face and made him look at me , " Hold yourself together , your highness , if you break down like this how will we all survive ? " He looked at me , understanding me . " Ok , ok but I want to know who did this to my sister , I want to know immediately. " He said and motioned his gaurds to go and find out who murdered her . I made Leo stand up and we went to his room .I made him sit on the bed but he clung to me , a maid entered and offered him water but he declined it , I swiftly took the water from her hands and and dismissed her . I offered him some water , he looked at me and i made him drink water . " The guards will find evidence , you sleep and take some rest " and was about to let go when he pulled me and said " Please stay with me tonight . "
